Merry Monday #17

They have another fun sketch this week at Merry Monday. It is challenge #17

Here is my card.

Here is the inside.
This is another fun little stamp I got at a garage sale. It is a big cube by Inky Antics called Christmas Pups. On the stamp the pups are in square frames but that would have been too big for my card. The pups are colored with copic markers and sparkled with stickles but you can't see that in these pictures.  I used the fence boarder punch for the liner. I thought that looked cute with the pups.

Well I am posting this ahead. When you read this I should be getting very close to SC. Keep your fingers crossed that my back holds out after all those hours in a car.

Thanks for stopping.

Christmas Card Challenge #21

The challenge this week at Christmas Card Challenge is a Recipe.
Here is my card.
I got this sweet little angel stamp for $1 at a garage sale. She is a Stamping Sensations 2002 stamp. Her dress had a button so she was perfect for this challenge. I just added a real one over the one on the image. The paper is Cosmos Cricket Mitten Weather. The buttons and ribbon are from my collection.  I colored her skin, and wings with copic markers. Her dress is paper pieced. I punched the corners with a MS punch. Then finished the front by adding stickles to her stars and wings. The inside liner was punched with the partner punch that matches the corners.

This is the first picture I took on the newly painted deck. I think I could have done a better job. When I put the card in the sun you couldn't see the pattern on the paper. Time to relearn out door lighting. LOL

I hope you are having a wonderful week.

Christmas Card Challenge #20

The challenge this week at Christmas Card Challenge #20 is Twine.

Here is the card I made using some twine/
Melissa at Bee Divine used this stamp set last week on her card. It reminded me that I had this same stamp and die set. Thanks Melissa!
I tied some twine around the deers neck. It looks like he has broken free and is on his way to have some Christmas Cheer. I wrapped twin around the tree and the background paper to look like a fence that my deer has just jumped over. LOL He's sweater is paper pieced. The brad in the corner is from Paper Studio.

I really am using lots of the Christmas stuff I have on hand and it feels so good to use what I have. This time of year you don't see any Christmas stuff being advertised so you use what you have and I LOVE that.

Have you started your Christmas cards? I would love to know.

Merry Monday #16

I am right on top of things this week. Well I am starting off anyway.  I have my Merry Monday Christmas card done.

This is the sketch.

Here is my card.

I just couldn't get the sentiment to show up in the picture. It says Seasons Greetings and is done with a gold embossing powder. The panels are a vintage Christmas paper by Paper Studio and I am not sure about the green plaid. I had to add a strip at the top and bottom because I didn't like the way the panels ended. They were even but didn't look even. The holly on each corner of the sentiment is a sticker. This is a lot prettier in person.

Tomorrow I will show you the Christmas card I made for the Christmas Card Challenge #20

CardSpiration Challenge 11

Hi we had a great visit with Gary's cousin but Lucy did not like the little dog they brought and took after her. The poor little dog was scared out of her wits and cried like a  lion was eating her tail. Lucy is a third of her size but ten times quicker.  It is not looking so good for us getting a dog when my hubby retires. Any suggestion?
Here is the video I made to go with my Merry Monday card and Card-Spiration Challenge 11

Pastels

Happy Saturday! That means it is time for a Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday Challenge.  Our wonderful sponsor this week is Dearie Dolls.

The challenge is "Pastels."  This is the last little bit of the wonderful quilt paper that I had. I have no idea what line it is from. I know I have had it for years. I did do some sewing around the outside edge of the DP.  It is just a fun cheerful card that I can use for a Hello, Thank You, or Happy Birthday.

I hope you will join us at SSDS this week with your pastel creations.
Check out what the rest of the design team has created.

YPP Greetings From Theme Coffee

This months the theme for the greeting card at Your Paper Pantry is Coffee.  We were asked not to uses brown or black. Those are the first two colors you think of when you are going to make something with the theme coffee. I decided to make a kinda retro coffee pot. The one I used is from the Cricut Cartridge From My Kitchen.
Here is the inside.
I decorated the envelope and you can see that in the video.  I used the SU set called Morning Cup and a Raisin Boat set called  Confidential.

YPP has a lot of fun swaps and wonderful informations. Check it out.
Here is how I created my card.

LESSology Chest of Drawers

We have a wonderful  challenge for you this month at LESSology. The challenge is called Chest of Drawers. I was going to make a chest out of match boxes but a friend gave me this great box and it was perfect for this challenge.
This is what it looked like when I got it.
First I sanded off all the old paint.

Next I painted it black.
Then I used Graphic 45 paper Olde Curiosity Shoppe and covered the drawers, sides and top. Finally I  decorated this fun little Chest of Drawers.
Here is the video of what I did.

Here is the finished chest of drawers.
