Raisin Boat Stamp Camp

Hi There, The owners of Raisin Boat started having stamp camps and I wanted to share the wonderful cards we made. The camp is going to be the first Thursday of the month in Waunakee WI.
Here are the card we made.

This one was made with Raisin Boat stamp set Spring Cakes and the peeps are all embossed with glitter.  It is really a sweet card.
This card was made using RB stamp set Cheers to Good Luck and Stroke of Wisdom and 6 different Memento ink for the rainbow.

We used a wobble on this card and the Raisin Boat stamp set Spring is in the Air. The clouds are embossed with an embossing folder found in the Raisin Boat store.

This is a 3D card. We used Oops a Daisy and Breezy Butterflies. This really was fun. Some of the  flowers and butterfly are popped up.

Now my favorite card.
The beautiful layers of the shoe were cut from three different Boat house cardstock. Think Pink, Elephant Safari, and Black Granite. The sentiment on the inside is from Goes with Mountain Country Gal. Isn't it wonderful?
The gals at Raisin Boat really have kicked up their heels with their fabulous company and their fun stamp camp. You can sign up for the Raisin Boat camps,  if you know you are going to be in the Madison, Wisconsin area the first Thursday of the month, here.

The next camp is Thursday, April 4,  2013.

Have a wonderful crafty week,

Raisin Boat March Challenge #9

Time for challenge #9. Our challenge for you this month is to create an Easter/Spring project.

For this month's challenge, you can use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps). That's right, use any stamp set you wish for this challenge, but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a stamp set of your choice!

Get busy on those Easter cards and link it up on the Raisin Boat Challenge. If you are looking to rent a set, check out the wonderful collection Raisin Boat has in stock here.

We look forward to your "Easter" creations for this challenge! Did you see the wonderful Easter cards created by the design team?  You can see them here.

Here is the card that I made to give you another idea.

For this card I used Raisin Boat set Bunny Hop, Chicken Wire and Chicken Coop. Raisin Boat cardstock Sky View and Brighton Beach White, Memento ink Rose Bud, Bahama Blue and Dandelion. Raisin Boat Ribbon from Over the Rainbow collection.
I hope more of you join the challenge this month. Remember it just has to be an Easter creation. The prize is a free stamp set of your choice.

Thanks for stopping,

LESSology Challenge #23 What's in Your Toolbox?

 photo Challenge-23-whats-in-your-toobox_zpscd9a0ecd.jpg

Oh boy I love this challenge!  Nothing better than a toolbox to find fun things to add to your art.
I found some metal washers. eye hooks and twine that I wanted to us.
I used alcohol inks to color the metal washers.

I used my DYI gelli plate to make some paper and to paint the box.
Then I did some stamping.

I glued the washers and the eye hooks to the top of the box.
To see just how this all came together I made a video for you.

What are you waiting for? Go get out that toolbox and create some art. Then head to LESSology and share your creation.

Remember, you can create anything you want as long as you include at least one upcycled item on your project. Please tell us what it is in your post since it may not be apparent in the photo. We even have a prize. Thank you Julie!

Snow Day March 6 2016 in Wisconsin

Hi There,
Sorry I have been MIA. My Father-In-Law, who is 96 fell and broke his hip. He is now in a nursing home. He was the care giver for my Mother-in-Lay who is 93.  She has arthritis in her hands and needs help with small things. We are moving her in with us this weekend. So I have been cleaning, rearranging and no crafting, well very little. LOL  If I don't comment on you blog or videos please forgive me. I just have been and will be kinda busy the next few weeks.
Anyway here is a short video I made during the snowstorm this week.
This is one of my favorite visitors.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day,
