I caught a nice bass today and thought I would share it and a few other things that I have seen while at our little cabin in the woods.
Here is the bass I caught using a leach. Yes I put them on myself. I just don't think about it. LOL
Here is some visiting Mergansers. The female in behind the leaf. This is the first time we saw the male. Soon the female will be swimming around with a ton of babies and the dad will be no were around.
A big Bass trying to get off the hook just before I netted him for my husband.
Here he is in my husband hand.
And one more of a lake friends. There is a male and female and they were both flying around. We don't think they have babies this year. We are hoping the Loons do. I haven't had a chance to get a good picture of them yet. Maybe tomorrow.
I hope you enjoyed my pictures. It really is beautiful here.

Hi Everyone, I am at the cabin and only brought one bad of card making supplies. Hubby is out side painting all day so I am making cards. I wanted to do the two Christmas card Challenges and I did. It was kinda old school card making because of the limited supplies I bought with me. I brought my old CM Cutting System because that doesn't take much room, Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium 6 X 6 pack of paper, some Raisin Boat paper, 4 Raisin Boat stamp sets, Copic markers, glue score tape, Memento ink, stamping blocks. one pice of black velvet ribbon and a paper cutter. This made it all more of a fun challenge for me. Here is the challenge for Merry Monday #21 it is a sketch.
Here is the card I made using the sketch and the little bit of supplies I had. The paper is some different Christmas paper that was in my bag.
The stamp is for the Raisin Boat set Foreground Forest.
I made one more card just for fun.
It is cool and very windy today so I stayed inside. Now don't think I just played. I hung a cabinet, washed floors and window and did dishes. It is never all fun and games is it?
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Be sure to stop back tomorrow for another fun Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Challenge.
Hi Everyone,
I was in a fun swap at Your Paper Pantry for the month of May. It was the Junk Journal and we are making a birthday reminder journal. There were only five of us and we each had two months and made one folder for both pages. My months were November and December.
Here is a video of my project.
The sign up are right now for June. I hope you will head over and check out the swaps.
Happy Saturday! It is time for another fun challenge at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday. The challenge is an easy one. We want to see flowers on your creation this week.

Here is the card I created using one of Priscilla wonderful images.
I embossed the base card with a SU embossing folder. The image is colored with Copic markers. Then I added some small bling flowers. I cut the image out with a CM oval and the background with a Nestability.
If you have any questions please ask. Check out what the rest of the design team has created.
Wow it is Thursday. I feel like a bad blogger. I have been so busy with yard work. There is so much work and it is hard. I need a yard boy.
Ok I did get two Christmas cards done. I didn't do two last week so I am one behind.
Christmas Card Challenge #24 is to use old or neglected stamps. I used an old stamp set of mine by Theresa Momber and colored the image with copic markers.
I also used the sketch from last weeks Merry Monday Challenge 19
The second card is for Challenge 20 at Merry Monday
Here is the sketch.
Here is my card.
I used the same stamp set and copic markers.
I am off to Curves (I got a free one month trial), then yoga. Then I am going to Madison to do yard work for my in-laws.
If you have any questions about my cards please leave me a comment.

The Challenge this month LESSology's is called Birds of a Feather Flock together. You can make a project that incorporates a bird or birdcage. It is really open to your interpretation. I created a bird house out of a bird house gourd. Here is my creations. Most of which was created by Nature.
I love to watch the birds and the Wrens that use these house are so much fun. They have the prettiest song and they are very hard little workers.
I don't paint my birdhouse gourds because I like the way they look after they have been cleaned. I don't really like the products you have to use on them. I am not sure it is good for the birds when it heats up inside their little home. I let nature do the painting. I put up a new one every year.
Here is the video of what I do to make a Wren house.
I read that the male chooses several nesting cavities and places a few small twigs in each. Female inspects each, chooses one, and finishes the nest building. Whe will completely fill the nest cavity with uniformly small twigs, then line a small depression at the back of the cavity with pine needles and grass. They is a funny process to watch because sometime they can't get the twig throughout the hole. They try many times in different directions and approaches until they are successful.
They did pick my birdhouse.
I hope you will join us this month you can link up your creations in LESSology Challenge #14: Birds of a Feather Flock together
We were given some wonderful images to work with this week.
I chose the beautiful dress.
I thought it would be so nice to get a pretty new dress for Mother's day and especially it the great figure came with it. LOL I am sending it to my sister to remind her how we looked before we became mothers.
Oh, that's right we never looked like that. Hee Hee
Be sure to stop and see what the rest of the design team has created.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Mothers, Aunts, Sisters, Day Care providers, Nurses, you are all a mother to someone. Even the men who are both mother and father to someone.

Their stamps are amazing. They are strong, cling perfect and stamp crisp and clear. They are made of high quality photopolymer. I made my Christmas Card Challenge #23 using some of my favorite Raisin Boat sets.
The Challenge is Humor
I used three sets to create this card.
This is what I think my tree is going to look like after Lucy get done with it next Christmas. LOL The sentiment says, "Have a purrfect Holiday" The video shows how I made this card.
Raisin Boat has over175 exclusive clear stamp sets for rent or purchase. The way I like to check out their wonderful stamp sets is to look through the Idea Gallery. The stamp sets I used for this card were; Treemendous, Time Flies, and Purrsonality. Raisin Boat also has a great blog with more ideas.
