My Scrap Room Challenge #27

My Scrap Room Challenge #26

Gina has a fun challenge over at My Scrap Room.
Here is the sketch.

And here are the added requirements.

• Banner must be made from fabric
• Use brads as indicated
• No Flowers
• Use Patterned Paper somewhere on the card

You don't know how many times I reached for a flower when making this card.

I cut the banner from some left over fabric. The brads are next to the sentiment. The patterned paper is from my scraps. I added some stickers to banner and some cord to the top.

Your Paper Pantry

Hi Everyone I am hosting the ticket swap over at Your Paper Pantry.  It is a great sight with lots of very talented and fun people.
The ticket swap is a lot of fun. If you have the Tim Holtz ticket die this would be great for you. If you don't have the die you can make your own tickets easily.  Just cut strips 1.25" and score every 2 inches. Then use a corner punch or a small circle punch in the corners to create the tickets.

Loons

A couple of you asked what loons are so I decide to share them with you.

This is a spot on the lake were they might nest.

I took all the pictures and video from my kayak so they may not be the best.

This is a mother and her baby.

Mail Art Book

I am having so much fun with the Mail Art Swap I am in over at Your Paper Pantry.  I just love all the envelopes I have gotten so far. I wanted away to keep them and be able to look at them. So I have made a Mail Art Book.

Iris Fold

Hi There,
We are at the cabin and have a wonderful time. I was folding paper the whole way here. My brother in laws birthday is Thursday so I made him a card this morning using one of the iris folds.

Now I am off to a water color class. I am very excited to give this a try.

A First

Hi Everyone, I made my first Iris Fold card today. I have been watching Marianne from Poketfull of Vintage and Linda from The Paper Boutique on You Tube to learned how to do these fun cards.


Here is what I created.

I used some CTMH scrapbook paper and a flower shape die cut to cut the flower shape.


OK this is really addicting. I have a stack of paper cut and folded and ready to go. The paper I am using is some CTMH paper that I have had for a long time. It may be a little heavy for this but it is something I want to use up.  This one has 6 different paper. That may have been a little much for the first time but it really isn't hard and the result is wonderful.

LESSology Challenge 16 Bubble Boy and Girl

Happy 4th USA

Here is a card I made for my in-law and great aunt.

I made it using my Circut. I was inspired to make this card after seeing Sherrie K's card here. I don't use my Independence Day Circut like I should and after I saw Sherrie's card I went right to my craft room. Thanks Sherrie.

Your Paper Pantry Mail Art Swap

The envelopes feel like a water color paper and I picked them up at St Vinnie’s. 

The Ink: Momento; Grape Jelly, Rose Bud, Tuxedo Black, TH Distress ink, Mustard Seed, Spice Marmalade

I also used some Jelly Roll pens, a water brush, and black stickles.

Still Time

Hi I just wanted to remind you all that there still is time to enter the Raisin Boat challenge. If you don't have any Raisin Boat stamps you can rent two set for and introductory price of only $5.99.
