Oh boy I know why we have children when we are young. LOL My adorable little granddaughter came for a visit. We all went to the cabin and had a lot of fun. She caught her first fish!
Before she came I made her a treasure chest to hold all the jeweler her Great Grandmother got at St. Vinnie's. We had so much fun getting it all together for her and she loved it.
I am always looking for ways to store my stamps and dies. I have been watching Christina Thomas on YT. She has some amazing storage idea. And over a year ago I watched Okieladybug's Scrap N'More For the Embossing Folder Storage. I feel like I am making little steps to find what really works for me. I love the change I made in my Raisin Boat stamp storage.
Here is a picture of how I am storing them now.
I use to store them in 3 ring binders but when I used more than one set it was a big mess. So I took them all out of the binders. Then I cut some page pockets in half, taped the cut one and slid the set in the new pockets. Next I grouped them in a way that works for me.
This all started after watching Christina's video on how she stores her Dies.
Here is a video on how I am storing my Raisin Boat stamps and Spellbinders dies. Christina has some wonderful ideas.
Hello, I have another Your Paper Pantry swap to share. This is a one to one swap. We were to create a accordion album using a Golden book. Our wonderful hostess Iley found a terrific tutorial by Jaqcui Chimes for the construction of the accordion style album. My partner is Stephie from Little Red Wagon on YT. Here is my album.
Here is a video that tells all about it.
Stephie is so sweet. I love creating for her.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful crafty weekend.
Hugs,
I love the swaps at Your Paper Pantry. The July Mail Art swap was called Doodle Bug and we were to interpret it any way we want.
I had this wonderful Raisin Boat stamp called Off to the Party
I love the car. We always call those cars "Bug" and I just had to use it with this theme.
Here is my envelope.
I did a lot of doodling on the card with jelly pens, distress markers, and glitter pens. It was so relaxing to put on some BBC shows on Netflix and doodle away.
Here is a short video that is a better look at my July Mail Art.
It is time for another fun challenge over at the Raisin Boat Blog. This month, our challenge is "Christmas in July." Make a Christmas card, decoration, invitation or party favor. You have until August 12 to link your creations below.
Again this month you can again use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps). Use any stamp set you wish for this challenge, but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a stamp set of your choice!
I used Raisin Boat set Handy Dandy Helpers, and BoatHouse Collection cardstock Red Delicious, Brighton Beach White, and On the Green. The Brads are also form Raisin Boat
It is a great time to get ahead of your holiday rush by getting started on your Christmas cards. I hope you will join the challenge and share your creations.
Here is the video of my card.
I look forward to seeing what you create.
Thanks for stopping by.

So I have been pretty busy. It is easier for me to make and edit a move than to write but I know my brain needs me to write. I am going to try harder to post more.
Thanks for stopping and I hope you are having a busy and wonderful summer too.
