Raisin Boat Challenge #15

Wow summer is over. I is fall and time to get some Boo On. Challenge #15 is to all about Halloween.  Create a card, scrapbook page, gift or other creation that you make with a Halloween theme and head over to the Raisin Boat Blog and link up your creation.

You can use any stamp set you have (you don't have to limit your entry to Raisin Boat stamps), but if you use a Raisin Boat stamp set, it will count as two entries. That gives you twice the chance to win a FREE stamp set of your choice!

Be sure to check out all the wonderful Halloween stamp and examples in the Raisin Boat GalleryRemember, you can either buy  OR rent Raisin Boat sets -- no guilt in using a set for just one project, such as this Halloween-themed challenge!

Here is the card I created to get you started.  I had so much fun layering and shaping the images to make this card dimensional.

DiemondDies

I gave the Diemond Dies a try and I really think they are a thumbs up. I love how they cut. I got the Pine Branch because I thought it would be a good one to test if it cuts the fine lines well.  It passed my test with flying colors.
Here is the care I created
I also purchased the tiny butterfly from Diemond Dies.  All the little tiny pieces just fell out. I loved that.  The paper is Raisin Boat Summer Lime and Mud pie. The stamp is Raisin Boat Brick Background. I love that stamp.

Here is a video.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Hugs,

Happy Birthday LESSology Challenge #29

LESSology is having a birthday and I made a cake! You know LESSology is all about up cycling  and recycling so my cake is made with items that I just couldn't throw out.

I had these neat jars from products I love to use. I knew they could still have a purpose.
I drilled, added a screw, and glue to attach the lid of one to the bottom of the next container.
Next I created labels  using Raisin Boat Stamp sets Tea Time Treats, Purrsonality, All the Write Words, Goes with Masterpiece Chef Gal, Sleepless Slumber. The Raisin Boat  paper I used to cover the jars was Forget Me Not, and Think Pink.
Then I decorated each layer with some viva deco and lace.  I removed the screws when the glue dried.

Next I added the filling.
The bottom layer holds the candles. The middle layer holds the matches. The the top layer is for the candle holders.
Here is the finished cake.
Happy Birthday LESSology!

Do you want to help us celebrate? Up cycle something for a birthday party.

Here is the video telling how I created my cake.

Thanks for stopping,
