Hi Everyone,
I had a great day helping out Kim and Bobbie with the Raisin Boat make and take at the One of a Kind Stamp show in Madison, WI today. There were so many wonderful people who stopped by to join in the free make and take. I wish I would have take some pictures but I was very busy. LOL
Here is a picture I took of some cards on the display using a couple of their new sets. I think they have like 6 new ones. If you get the newsletter you will see them as they are released. The newsletters only come out maybe once a month. They are way to busy to bombard you with email.
The top card is made from a new set called
Deck the Halls. Bobbie has created some amazing cards from this set. I think she is doing a video soon showing how she used the piece of wood that come with this set. She is so creative and has 5 cards in the gallery already that feature the wood stamp from this set.
See the cute little pop corn in the second card? That is from a new set called Crunch Time. The candy canes are brads, and the elf is from
Elves are Watching. Crunch Time is so new they don't have it on the web sight yet. If you get the news letter you will see it very soon. The card we did for the make and take was from the set called
Merry Nature. It is a wonderful set with a beautiful birch tree and one of the sentiments says "Winter is a birch," I love that!
Don't for get about the
Challenge this month it is called Christmas and you may get an extra present if you enter the challenge and win.
Oh, I and I should share a little excitement. Just as I was getting ready to set up the make and take, guess who walked in the door. Mr Tim Holtz himself. I looked up and said Hello Mr. Tim Holtz and could I please have a picture with you. He was so nice and said yes.
It looks like we are old friends but really the poor man must think I am some kind of nut.
Then later on the way to back from lunch I quick got a couple of things from the booth were he was doing his demo and the person who checked me out was Mario so I took a quick selfie of us.
Not so good of me but Oh Well. It was all a lot of fun. I was so impressed when the show was over and Tim was over there working hard taking everything down with the rest of the crew. He have a very long weekend. And I am sure a lot of people were tickled to get to watch is demo and see him in action first hand.
I would have love to have taken his class but I really had a lot of fun teaching the card we were making.
This was a fun day after a very long week. My MIL was in the hospital for 5 day and is now home with us. It is going to be a slow and long recovery. She hates to take pills and came home with 19. Please keep her in your prayers.
Have a wonderful week,
Hugs,
