Today I used things that were on my desk and some beer bottle caps that has art on them that I find interesting. I flatten them with a pliers and my die cut machine.

I was playing with some Tim Holtz goodies I had stashed away and forgot that I had. I need to use more and shop less, but it is so hard. Shopping is so much fun. Plus they keep coming out with so many new and amazing things.

Rolodex Card A Day 241
I was very inspired after seeing Aarons at ImperfectImpulses video titled Art Journal Page-Je reve de Paris. Here is the link http://youtu.be/olRsmQ9v8PU?list=UUjU04ybwhaF0OyvQp-4Y1Eg. Aaron doses some amazing journal pages and his is very funny.
Rolodex Card A Day 240 was inspired by some paper I received from my friend Terry Oulboub. She is terryeo1 on YT. The paper just made me think of sewing so I went with that.

Today I was having fun with rub ons. The quote today says, Life is about moving on, accepting change and looking forward to what makes you strong and more complete. It also says This moment life is good. That is what makes me strong and complete, (Recognizing each good moment!). They can really add up when you pay attention to them.
Rolodex Card A Day 238 is another Fairy Fair card inspired by my friend Stephie at littleredwagonstudio on You Tube. She is making a very cool Fair House.
Hello, Well it has been crazy around here. I am so glad I worked a head on projects. Mary is really having a hard time. Yesterday they needed to do a blood transfusion and she was doing pretty good. When they hooked up the second bag she got very confused and anxious. She was having trouble breathing and her heart rate went up. They said it was a reaction and stopped the transfusion. She was very upset and anxious and night time came. This can happen to elderly people. Today they plan on moving her to a nursing home. The heart breaker is when she says she just wants to go home but I don't have my home anymore. Someone else lives there. It is so hard to see her like this.
Well you are not here for all of that. Here is my RCAD 237. I was making my tickets for the YPP Artsy Fartsy Ticket Challenge and I used one on the RCAD. It is a Ticket to Dream. The challenge is to use embossing.

Rolodex Card A Day 235 I should call this on Flowers for Mary.

In the video I say I am at the Expo because I made this video a head of time. I am not at the Expo I am home. Poor Mary my MIL who is 94 fell and broken shoulder and hip. They operated on her hip but the shoulder they are keeping in a sling. She was very out of it yesterday and just looks so frail and sore. It was her right side and she is right handed. She will have to go to a nursing home next week. She will need to be able to stand before she can go back to assistant living. Mary will need more help that we can give her at home. She is getting very good care, but I wish it was more. It is so hard to see her like this. She tries so hard to focus. I wish she could just relax and rest. We will be at the hospital most of today.

We got a call at 11:30 last night that Mary, my MIL, fell and broke her arm and hip. Please keep her in your prayers. Hubby will be making the long drive home this morning.
For this card I used a Raisin Boat jar stamp for the set called Sealed With a Kiss and made it a shaker. Then I filled up the card and jar with sequins and used a Lady Gaga quote that says, "and now I'm just trying to change the world one Sequin at a time."

This card is in honor of Lucy who has been sick her whole short life. Saturday we had to put to sleep. This time the infection was so bad she was hissing when she was touched. The vet said we did all we could and more than most. It was a very hard decision. She also said there are many healthy kitties out there that need a good home. She is right but this is so hard it really makes having pet not so appealing. I hope Sophie lives to a very ripe old age. She seems healthy and is very affectionate.

Rolodex Card A Day 229 is a very special one. I made it in honor of one of my You Tube followers. His name is Deacon and he is 3 years old. His grandmother told me he loves my videos and they let him watch them to calm him down. That just cracked me up. He loves to swim and play legos. So the card is made to look like legos and a pool.

Today I made my card using some stamped images I found while cleaning out a drawer. Do you do that, stamp images for another time and forget you have them? It is fun when you find them just when you want to create.
I can't wait to be home. We drive through Chicago today. Not my favorite drive. There will be a ton of road construction:( Oh well we will be home soon!

I am in the town were I grew up. We plan to take a nice long walk today. I forgot how pretty it is here. Penn's woods is truly the right name for this place. We head home tomorrow. Two long days of driving. I am not looking forward to that. I miss my kitties and I hope they are happy to see me.
