Unscripted and Stamp Something

Wow I am so excited I have 100 + followers. You are all wonderful. I have enjoyed reading all the comments and emails. There is still one more week to go. So if you haven't left a comment you still have time. I have a random number picker at school so I will but the number of comments in and have it pick a number for me.
This weekend I was busy. I only got one card made. I used Unscripted Sketches #50. I will be needing graduation cards so I used this cute image I got from Angela Doescher at Sew Many Cards. I colored him with Copic Markers. Then I did something I said I would never do. I got out my sewing machine and sewed on my card. It was really fun. I did it messy on purpose. LOL. It has been a LONG time since I had the sewing machine out. It was fun playing around with it. I have wanted to try this technique for some time. I need more practice and more thread. I don't know what happened to all of my thread. The challenge at Stamp Something is to Stitch Something so I thought now or never. The sentiment is from SU and is heat embossed with white EP.
Well I hope you like my card and keep telling friends about my blog candy.
Thanks for stopping,

LOVE your card! And the stitching is great. I did the same thing recently (my first time!), and my stitches were not nearly that pretty, lol!

What a wonderful card! I love the vibrant blues and sewing you did on this, not to mention the colors. I always have such problems choosing the right colors for Olliver, but now I will have to "take" this option. Thanks sew much for doing a wonderful job with the SMC images!

Thanks for your comment on my card.
I do not have a blog but wanted you to know that I think you have so many lovely cards.
Congratulations on your retirement. I have been retired from teaching for 18 years (yikes!!!) - I had about 30 years too. But retirement has been good - I learned how to stamp and make cards!
