This card is in honor of Lucy who has been sick her whole short life. Saturday we had to put to sleep. This time the infection was so bad she was hissing when she was touched. The vet said we did all we could and more than most. It was a very hard decision. She also said there are many healthy kitties out there that need a good home. She is right but this is so hard it really makes having pet not so appealing. I hope Sophie lives to a very ripe old age. She seems healthy and is very affectionate.
