Cricut Cartridge Owners Listen Up

Is it getting impossible to keep up with your collection. Are you having trouble remember what cartridge has your favorite flower or cat. Well there is a new website that is very helpful. If you have a Gypsy it is pretty good but this is better. The website just opened a few days ago and the owners are looking for feedback on how the site works and any suggestions for improvements.

The site is free but there may eventually be more features added on a subscription basis. Check out CricutSearch.com and see what you think. I think it is a wonderful idea.

I am adding a button to my side bar so I have it when every I need to look something up.

A Lollipop Girl Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,
I am so excited!  I am a Lollipop Girl. Last week I was invited to be on By LORi Designs, design team. I just love her images and am trilled to be on this team of very talented ladies.

We are having a blog hop today so you can get to know all of the Lollipop girls and win some of Lori's images. Isn't that wonderful?

I am in Chicago and I don't have many supplies with me. I just brought a Cosmo Cricket (Material Girl) 6x6 packet of paper, tape, paper cutter, Viva Decor Pearl Pen, Score Buddy, Copic Markers and the most important a sheet of digi stamps that I printed off before I left home. This is a new image by Lori Boyd called Grandparents. You can get it at Lollipop and Sugar Sticks Store which is were you will fine all By LORi Designs 

Grandparents day was last Sunday so I decided to make  an anniversary card. I didn't bring any stamps with me and I could not get anyone in Chicago to print my (MacBook) sentiment.  I wrote it by hand.  I also wanted to add some bling which I forgot to bring. So I walked up and down Michigan Ave yesterday looking for something to use. I found these earrings and thought that was a lot of bling for $5. Look at what is on one earring? Have you every been to a Forever 21 store? Amazing place!

OK now for my card.

Not too bad for not having many supplies but I wish I could have stamped or printed the sentiment.  Lori's images are so wonderful they really make the card without a lot of extras needed.

Scrapmaster Color Combo Challenge # 65

Welcome to another Scrapmaster's Color Combo Challenge. This week our colors are: 

Of course I thought of Halloween when I saw these colors. I was also influenced by what I saw at  Ink Paper Stamp  They are having a Halloween Punch Art Blog hop. You have to check it out. 

Here is what I came up with:

He reminds me of the little guy from the Jetson's TV Show in the 70's. I used my SU  punches to make him. Can you tell which ones?


I have been having so much fun making Halloween cards. I don't know who will get them but they are so much fun to make. What will you do with our colors this week? I look forward to seeing your creations.

Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday

Our challenge this week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle is to make a thank you card. This digi image is by Kathy Martin. I got it a while back. It is suppose to have a flower on the cup but I want to play with my Photoshop Elements and see if I could put the sentiment on the cup and I could. That is the fun part about digi stamps you can change things around and they don't take up any room in your craft space.
My card got a little busy with all the embossing but I was having fun. 

I paper pieced the saucer and added some flowers that I punched and cut in half. The little hearts are suppose to be the steam. I colored the cup with Copic markers. I used the colors from Color Throwdown 109.  I was motivated to do the hearts after seeing this card by another one of my favorite card designers LeAnne. Her cards always wow me. 
The layout is from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 84
The "Thank you!" is a SU samp for the set called Pedaling past.
I liked the colors so much that I made two thank you cards.

I like this one better. It is not so busy. The embossing folder is called Bloom Dots. This is a SU set called Something Sweet. I have had this set for a while and this is the first time I used it. I think it is so sweet. The bow is hiding a finger smudge I made after I had it all stamped, distressed, cut out and ready to go. I wasn't going to have a bow on it. I was just happy I had ribbon in the right color.
Here is a picture of the liner. I got a new MS border punch called Ribbon Loop with my 50% off at Michael's over the weekend.

Both cards have that liner. It is so pretty.

A New Blog and Card Challenge

Have you been to CARDZ TV? Well I just came across it and I love it. You get cards and cooking ideas. I am sure there is so much more but I am new to the blog. Mary is so sweet and so talented. As soon as I finished watching this video I had to make a card.  I had my computer sitting right next to me and I went step by step with Mary. 

This is the care I came up with.

 Here is the inside.

I drew the blood with Stickles. It sparkles...hee hee. The paper is Basic Gray I think. I love it. Doesn't it look old fashion?

Well I felt like I copied Mary's card and she is having a challenge so I made this card for the challenge. I really love both of these cards. 

I spent a hour making a fence on my Gypsy then I saw this one on the Everyday Paper Dolls. I just love this card.

Here is the inside.

The kitten is on the inside of the card. I used SU Perfect Plum and made a window card with my Gypsy. Then I cut the rest from Everyday Paper dolls and I used Everyday Character Faces from Peechy Keen Stamp for the pumkin faces. The background paper is K & Company Halloween Bats. Oh I used tiny wiggly eyes on the kitten and a white and glitter gel pen. I hand wrote the Boo! I wanted it to hide behind the fence.

A Birthday Card for My Best Friend

I am so hooked on this fold. You might have to tell me to stop. I also love this stamp set by Art Impressions called Girlfriends Dancers . You can't tell from the picture but the one lovely lady in popping up in the center fold where it say, "Dance like no one's watching... who can have you committed. I stamped it twice and cut out one of the ladies. This is a large card and it fit in a fancy envelope I had from a sale earlier in the summer.
I gave this to a very good friend and she laughed and said it was going on her desk at school. That is the thing I like the most about this fold is that it makes a card and a decoration all in one. What could be better. 

This was the first card I started but I didn't like the way I cut the girls out. This is were I got the one extra dancer for the first card. But I had these three girls and I figured I should use them. This is a smaller card and will fit in a regular card envelope.

Scrapmaster's Paradise Color challege #64

Oh my goodness it is Monday and I almost forgot it was time for Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge.
Here are the colors for this week.

The pumpkin pie and cherry cobbler make me think of fall and a wonderful tree I saw here at Snappy Stampin with Arielle.
Arielle is one of my favorite card makers. I love everything she does and am always motivated by here cards and scrapbook pages.
My card isn't near a cute so make sure you check hers out.
Here is my version.

The base is VV, and the tree was cut with my Cricut, I ran the leave part through the CB. The swing was made with a SU punch, and tied with floss. I used PP ink to bring out the embossing folder. I hope you will join us this week at SPCC. I look forward to seeing your creations.

Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday

I am a little late getting my post up today. I am feeling a little lazy today. I went for a 45 minute walk and than sat down and have been reading email for a couple of hours. Oh, I did a load of wash and cleaned the kitchen. But I still don't feel like doing much. Enough about that.

This week we have an easy challenge for you at SSDS. Our challenge is Christmas.It can be a card, a layout to get those past Christmas photos scrapped, or anything else you would like.

Here is the card I made for this challenge.

I used this cute SU stamp called The More the Merrier. I used bleach to color the snowmen. The bleach takes the color out of the card stock. I love the effect this technique has for coloring snowmen. Oh, I think it might be cool on ghost. I will have to try that too.

Three New Favorites!

Oh boy, I have three new favorites. A favorite card fold, favorite paper and favorite stamps. I saw a wonderful card at Curt's World with this fold. He directed me to this video. Thank you Curt!
I got my new favorite stamp set yesterday from Custom Crops. It is a Thanksgiving set by Crafty Secrets.

I just love this set. When I saw it I had to have it. I have not seen it in the stores or on any blogs yet. Look at all those images. My family says they like Thanksgiving better that Christmas because there is no pressure to get gifts and it is all about food. There are more men in my family than woman in my family. Can you tell?
I used my new favorite paper from the We are Memory Keepers scrapbook pack called Maple Grove.
