Father's Day

Hi Everyone,
Our challenge this week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday is to make a Father's Day card.  Just in time. right?

Today our challenge is sponsored by Squigglefly.  There are so many wonderful images over there for the right price.

I used the an adorable Squigglefly image called "I Love You Daddy" by Lynne Stansbery to create my card. Isn't it a great image and it only cost $.99. The prices are amazing.
I added the sentiment by creating a text box and typing what I wanted. That is what is so great about digi stamps.

I wish I could give this to my Dad but he is gone. I am going to send it to my step son and sign it from my granddaughter. He will get a kick out of it.

Head over to SSDS and see what the other DT's have created. Then  head over to Squigglefly and check out all there wonderful stamps. The winner will receive three free digi stamps.

I Did It Creations

I was introduced to this great blog and just had to join in on this challenge. The blog is called I Did It Creations Challenge Blog. The coolest thing is you can request a free digi that any one of the DTs used in the challenge. So I requested one and I love it. The challenge is called Hats.

Here are the cards I made.

I had to make two different cards. The top one I went over the white paper with SU Crumb Cake to make it look a little older. I did the second one first and wasn't sure if I like the how white it was but I do now. I love Cameos and when I got the Beaded Ovals die cut this is what I had in mind to make. I am so happy to have this digi. I can make it any size I want. Thanks I Did It Creations!  The DP is from SU.

I went over the image and the beads around the image with CTMH Liquid Glass. It is nice and glossy. The pictures could be better but it is so hot out today that I didn't want to keep running in and out of the air. I am sick with a sinus infection. So that wouldn't be a good thing to do.

Now I am off to rest!

Hi I just saw some amazing candy to share.  Jessica at Chick-n-Scrap is celebrating 300 Followers with this amazing giveaway.

If you sign up please tell her I sent you.

OK now I will rest. well maybe.

Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday

Hi Everyone,
We have a fun challenge for you this week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday.  The challenge is to create something with what is on your desk. Well the stuff I used for my project has been sitting on my desk for weeks now. I was so happy to get the push I needed to get this project completed.
The Scrabble game is from St Vinnie's. The flowers are ones I made. The top one is made from the paper towel that was in my glimmer spray box. It really is pretty. The other flower was the one I made here with Lindy's Stamp Gang spray.  I made the little white flower in the lower bottom left hand corner with a scrap of ribbon that was laying on my desk.  I have a jar with all the little ends of ribbon on my desk. It really comes in handy. I plan on adding more to this sign as it appears on my desk and the spirit moves me.

Siobhan from The Monkey Hut is our very generous sponsor this week. She had donated two Bella Stamp sets.

Christina Asked...

Christina from Creations with Christina asked, "What is on your desk?" So I thought I should join in. I must warn you this is scary. I seem to have to have everything on my desk. Then I clean it off and BAM! it is a mess again. So when a challenge comes along to make a project with what is on your desk I always have a lot to work with. LOL.
Here is what it looks like today.
What I am finding out is that I am not so different. Go check out the other pictures posted at Creations with Christina.

Have a wonderful day,

A Day for Dasies

Hi Everyone,
Today I have a card I made using the free image from A Day for Daisies. I love the ADFD images. The challenge right now is black and white and one other color. I used peach.  I love this image.

I used a SU wheel called Very Vintage on the base card to create the background. Then I added some of my hand dye seam binding and vintage black ribbon. The flower I made from the SU set Vintage Vogue.  I cut out two flowers and layered them. Then added some bling to the center.  I added some Say it with Pearls to add some frill.

A Day for Daisies also has a fun group at Crafter's Digital Art Center. I hope to see you there.

A Party!

There is a big party going on at Crafter's Digital Art Center. I am in a couple of great groups there. Wax Fruit, A Day for Dasies, Glitterbabe's, Pin Swap and IKEsINK.  You will find a lot to do and you can always find some free digi stamps. Today you can watch a great video on how to make a flag flower.
The party is a month long. Head over to CDAC'S and check it out.  They are giving away over $600 worth of prizes. Sounds like fun.

See you there,
