Stamp Scrap and Doodle Satuday

Hi Everyone, Happy Saturday!
It is time for another fun challenge at SSDS. This week we have a Photo Inspiration for you to follow. We are being sponsored by the amazing Robyn's Fetish.
Here is the Photo:
Here is my interpretation of the photo.
The Robyn's Fetish image is called Fanny da Kitty. Isn't he adorable? The paper is from a Robyn's Fetish digital pack called Oriental Beauty Papers. I don't have a lot of experience with digital paper but this was so much fun and easy to use. I sized the paper to 4 X 5.25 added the kitty to the center. Then printed it out, folded it and colored the kitty. I printed a second kitty, colored, cut, and then popped it up. The flowers are made with paper from the same paper pack. They were so much fun to make.
I hope you will join us this weeks at SSDS for our challenge. The winner can choose either 5 digital stamps or 4 digital stamps and 1 paper pack. Fun Right?

Cricut Car Decals-A Card

I just love this cartridge for cards. I think the layers are a little tricky.
Here is the video I made to show you how I use the "Car Decals" cartridge for a card. I still am learning a lot about that cartridge.  I hope this helps some of you who have the cartridge but have not used it yet.
If you have any tips on using this cartridge I would love to hear them.

Tequila You Say?

Wow, it's already Thursday. The weeks sure are wizzing by.
Today is a dear friends birthday and we can't get together because she is taking care of her father who has been very ill. She is one of the funniest ladies I know. When ever you are around her she makes you laugh. She has a quick wit and catches you of guard all the time. We worked in the same classroom and I miss having her in my life on a daily bases.
I made her this card because I know she will love it. It will remind her of me. That is a long story that I just don't have time to go into here. LOL The image from Bugaboo and called Ruby Tidbits - tequila.
This card is really pretty. It sparkles and and the colors are so bright. Not the best picture. Sorry:(

Her favorite color is purple.  I hope she gets a chuckle when she opens this card.

Altered Cigar Box

Hi I am making a box of cards for my sister's birthday present. I started with a wooden cigar  box that I got at a garage sale. Then I decorated it with paper, some vintage lace and a few special pictures.

The picture is my grandmother Arra Linda Lovelin. Isn't that a pretty name.  She was my dad's mother. Arra was an amazing lady. She was a single mother with two sons and had her own flower shop in the basement of a large hotel on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City in the 1920's. My sisters youngest daughter looks a lot like her.  She died in her forties so we never got to meet her but my mother worked in the hotel and knew her before she met my dad. He ran the ferris wheel on Steel Pier on the Boardwalk. Mom told us many stories about this amazing lady.
Here is a short video that shows what I did.

Creating the Crafty Life

Hi  Everyone,
I joined a brand new group called Creating the Crafty Life. I would like to invite you all to join this fun group. There are all kinds of challenges and fun stuff happening over there.
This week the color challenge is Pink so I made this card.
A friend of mine was over yesterday and she had out all my stamp and was stamping away. I forgot I had so many wonderful stamps. This is one she was using and I just had to put it use too. This adorable stamp is from CTMH. I am working on making a big box of cards for my sisters birthday gift. I will have more cards to show you in the next few days.
Here is the inside.
The stamp on the inside is a SU stamp. The liner on the inside was punched with a MS abc 123 punch.
