Rolodex Card A Day 344

Today's Rolodex card was created by just having fun with some of my Christmas goodies I have had for a couple of year.  It did make me Jolly to make Rolodex Card A Day 344! The stamps and Dies are Hero Arts and Sizzix I think it is called Reindeer.

Rolodex Card A Day 343

The inspiration for RCAD 343 came from an order I got from My Favorite Things. I just love the Pure Innocent images. This time I even tried s couple of the dies. They were having a wonderful sale and I just couldn't resist. 

I made this one into a shaker card.

Rolodex Card A Day 342

The inspiration for RCAD 342 came from the birthday card from my hubby. I thought the art work was so beautiful.  The sentiment says Pile on the fun. It made me think to pile on the mix medium. So that is what I did.

Rolodex Card A Day 341

The inspiration for Rolodex Card A Day 341 came from a vintage post card that I had from my MIL.  I just love this image and the post card was from 1929. 

The quote says, 

"I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence but it comes from within. It is there all of the time."

Anna Freud

(1895-1982)

I thought that was perfect for the picture on the postcard.

Rolodex Card A Day 340

Christmas Past! This Rolodex card was created with a picture of my brother, sister and myself from 1961. I was working on Christmas cards for the 2015 challenge over at YPP! Yes I said 2015.  I host the Christmas Card all year challenge, and all the cards for this year are in the mail.  I am so motivated by all of the cards I am seeing I just had to get started on next years cards. The best part is now pressure. I have a year to complete them.

The inspiration for today card came from a quote from the book Meditations from The Road The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck. 

"Since our feelings work for us, we should treat them with respect." 

So true! 

I used a stamp with out a face. I think that reflects those times we what to ignore our feelings. This is going to be one of my favorite card.

Hello! Todays card was created with a napkin that was in Happy Mail from a dear friend in Germany Martina Huppertova. She is so sweet. 

I got my medicine today so I should be on the mend soon.

Rolodex Card A Day 336

It is that day again. The one that has come every year for the past 62 years. Yes it is my Birthday. I really don't know how the number got to 62. Wasn't I 26 last year.  Oh well all is good and I can't complain. Life is good, except for the sinus infection.  

Ok I have to complain a little. I went to the Dr yesterday and she said, "Yes you have a sinus infection but you have to call me tomorrow for meds because  you haven't had it long enough."  Really, it has been a week! So now I have to suffer one more day and not feel good on my Birthday. I told her it was my birthday and that didn't make any difference because, "studies show". They never study me.  When I get a sinus infection give me meds and it goes away.  I have been doing that longer than she has been alive.  Oh well sorry! I am off my soap box now.

Rolodex Card A Day 335

Yea it is December and time to use up some of the ton of wonderful Christmas stuff I have.

RCAD 335 started with some weaving, which was a lot of fun.

The puzzle piece was created by Carol Plumb or CJ to YT followers. The charm was from a swap a year ago with Jeanne Spauldin. Thank you Jeanne and CJ.
