ATC Swap at Crafters Digital Art Center

Hi Everyone! I am in an Artist Trading Card Seasons Swap with Extras (That is a mouthful LOL) over at Crafters Digital Art Center. I am in two groups, spring and fall. I have finished my fall trading card.

The extras for this swap is to include 5 buttons with each trading card.

Here is how I made them.

I struggled with this one because I had too many idea. I have started my spring set and I really like them. I would love to know what you think. They are a lot of fun to make. If any of you would like to swap an ATC with me just let me know. I would love to trade one with you.  If you don't want to trade I would love to know that you think of my card.

Thanks for stopping and try to do something you love today,

A New Challenge plus one for me

Hi Everyone,
It has been bugging me that I don't use what I have. I have 60+ Cricut cartridges and I know there are some I have not used. So I am going to make cards using every one of my cartridges. It is nice because I have them all on my Gypsy and I can just go down the line.

Now there are challenges out there for us Cricut lovers and the new one is Cricut 360. Challenge #1 is to make an invitation of any kind. So I made this invitation to invite a friend to come and watch fireworks with us.

Materials used:
Cricut Cartirdge: A Child's Year, Alphalicious
Ribbon: Stampin Up
Card Stock: Stampin Up
Patterned Paper: from my statch
Other: Stickles

Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the inside.

I hope I can stick to my new challenge for myself.
Happy 4th! I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday

Happy Saturday and Happy July!  OK, what happened to June? June had to be the fastest month ever.
There are a lot of patriotic challenges out there this week. Our challenge at Stamp Scrap and Doodle Saturday is called "Stars and Stripes." So you can make it patriotic, or you can just use stars and stripes any way you would like.

Here is my card.
I used one of By Lori Design's new images called Lollipop Saylor. When I saw her I just had to buy her. Did you see all the new images?

I followed the sketch at Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!
The front is cut a little shorter so that the lining peaks out like a skirt. I used some brads and red, white and blue twin. The stars were made with a CB embossing  folder and core'dinations paper, then sanded. The stripes I created by cutting strips of paper.

I hope you all will join our challenge at SSDS this week. The prize will be from me this week. I am going to give away a star embossing folder just like the on I used on my card.

If any of you would like to sponsor our challenge at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday Please let me know.

I am also entering my card in Stampin' Royalty  challenge #78 which is GO PATRIOTIC!!!

Beaded Pin Swap

Hi Everyone,
Well I received all my pins from the Crafters Digital Art Center swap and I thought you might like to see them.

I want to thank Sammibug for hosting the swap and getting all those pins to everyone.  I received pins from 13 people. Some of them more than one set. There were 13 groups with 6 people each. That is 78 sets of pins to sort and mail. Amazing! Well done Sammi!

I made a video but I must apologize I didn't say every one's name and blog. Then I had to cut so much to keep it under 10 minutes. I hope you get some good ideas for making your own beaded pins.

Thank you to the 13 ladies who created all these lovely pins.
If you have any questions just ask.
