My DH helped me clean the house and I finally got all the laundry folded and put away. I even had time to make a couple of cards. While on the plane I designed a couple of cards with my Gypsy. So all I had to do was pick some paper and put them together. There are a lot of challenges for male cards this weekend.
I made this first card for my Father-in-Law for Father's Day. He loves to fish and has taught his sons and grandsons to fish. I am sure he would love to teach his great granddaughter to fish too, but he will be 94 on June 20th. We are planning a trip to to the cabin to take him fishing again on his birthday like last year. He has not been feeling well. Please keep him in your prayers.
The card stock is CTMH. The Cricut cartridge I used for the image is A Child's Year. The sentiment was from Plantin School Book. I was playing around with the welding tool on my Gypsy. Happy and Day were welded but Father was in two pieces. I am having a lot of fun learing how to do all that stuff. I learn the most from my mistakes. LOL There are some wonderful blogs to go to for help. Two of my favorite are My Pink Stamper and My Creative Time with Emma. They are two very talented ladies. Robyn at My Pink Stamper is having a Father's Day challenge. There are some wonderful cards being posted. If you need an idea check it out. You can only post one card so I will be back with the other two cards I made today in another post.
I hope you will stop back to check them out.
Thanks for stopping,
