A Gift for a Friend

One of my favorite sights is My Pink Stamper. Her real name is Robyn and she is so funny. She does lots of Cricut videos that are so helpful. She also has live feeds. This past week her best friend came to visit and they must have had the best time. You can tell by watching the video here. She is fun to watch even if you don't craft. This weekend they had a challenge to make a craft for a friend. So I made this set of card for my friend Melissa. We use to teach and ride to school together but then she moved. I really miss my rides and our long talks about everything. She is young enough to be my daughter and boy do I wish she was or that my sons would find someone so sweet. Like Robyn she loves pink. So the card set is pink. The set has six cards. Two are birthday, two friendship and two thank you. The stamp set is Holiday Cheer from Stamp TV. I made set following a video and challenge from a while back at Stamp TV. I packaged it in a clear box and tied it with a pink bow.

A Box of Cards

This is turning out to be a very good day. One of my sons is coming to visit. I am starting to feel better and can talk again. I had time to do this project and make an apple pie. I love a day were I feel like I got something accomplished.
I am excited about this project. It is for the technique challenge at Stamp TV. Gina K's challenge is to make a box of gift cards. You can watch her show you how here. The best part is now I have a very nice gift to give. The base cards are Pure Luxury Soft Sand. The DP is called Perfect Day from CTMH. The stamps, ribbon and gift box are from the Showtime Holiday Cheer Set. I colored the stamps with Fiskars markers. I wanted the center of the image a different color. I am very happy with how this turned out and I know just who will be getting it. I need to order more boxes because I know I will be making more. I had a little trouble punching out the sentiment. My circle punch is just a little too small. I even stamped the back of the cards with a stamp from this set. It says, Homemade for you with love."

Christmas in the 50's

This is me with Santa. I am trying to put a scrape book together of my life. The pictures from when I was little are in bad shape. That is because it was a l-o-n-g time ago. I used this week scrap book sketch over at Stamp TV. The holly is from Holiday Cheer Showtime Kit. The background paper is something my friend Terri gave me. I don't know who makes it.
