Throwback Thursday

Hi Everyone,
I am so happy with my order from My Creative Time. I had to make something right way. I checked The Throwback Thursday Challenge and saw that it was a Cricutless Challenge with the colors Green, Purple, Orange and Black. So this is what I made.

I used My Creative Time - Small Talk,  My Creative Time - Gift Card Holder.  The cat is from Petaloo.com. The paper is K&Company Kelly Panacci Halloween. Kitty has green eyes stickle eyes but they just didn't show up in the light when I took the picture. I got a little heavy with the black stickles on the right side but it is Halloween and messy makes it look scary. Right? Well, that is my story and I am sticking to it.

This is headed to a friend with a Starbucks gift card inside.

Have a wonderful day and remember to do something that you love.

The challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut is called a "Piece of Cake."
Here is the card I made.

The cupcake was cut from Birthday Bash and four embossing folders.

Candy Corn Oh My

Oh My Goodness! I have been so busy I forgot to tell you that I won a set of Peachy Keen stamps from My Creative Time with Emma. I won just for leaving a comment on her blog and I finally got to use it today. Peachy Keen is having a Friday challenge called Let's Face It. The challenge is to create a Halloween treat containers using PK faces. This is a judged challenge so I really worked hard on this project. I made these adorable little fellows with my new stamp set and my Cricut.

As soon as I saw the challenge I knew what I wanted to make.  Every Halloween I love to make a mix of dry roasted peanuts and candy corn. It taste so good!

Then I thought I should make a corn container for my treat. The box is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and the triangle is from Just Because.

I colored it with Copic markers YR68, Y13, G9, Y17. I used SU chalk for their cheek.

Next I used my Score Buddy to score the box. Then I stamped the cute faces and other stamps from the PK Dress Me Ghost set.
Next I used score tape to but the box together.
Last by not least I added the candy corn and peanut treat. Yum Yum!
The ghost is from Everyday Paper Dolls. I layered the ghost under the triangle corn that is popped up on one side.

Even if I don't win the challenge I think this is the cutest thing I have every made. Thank you Peachy Keen and Emma I couldn't have done it without you.

The challenge is until September 30th. You have to see the wonderful projects the DT have made. I know you will be motivated to join this challenge too.

One of my favorite sites has a Challenge

My Creative Time with Emma has a weekly challenge called Throwback Thursday. I love this challenge because it is all about using older Cricut Cartridges. I have invested a lot in these cartridges because I love them and it is so nice to have someone encouraging me to use them. Thanks you Emma!
The challenge this week is to use Doodlecharms and make a two page layout. This cartridge has a years worth of images. I have a ton of school pictures to scrap. I got started with these picture of my very last class. I make one just about every year. I have pictures of student I had in first grade that are now 40. One came to my retirement party. Those pictures are yellow now. It is fun to make these scrapbooks but I am really behind.

For this page I used Doodlecharms and Mini Monograms (for the heading) Cricut Cartridges. The wheels have my new favorite product Viva Decor Pear Pens and Glitter Liner. I got them from Custom Crops and I love them. They came in the mail and I had to try them. They look like the pearl you peel and stick but it is in a tube. The only bad part is it has to dry. If you look you can see where I made an opps. I used Spica glitter pens to do the doodles. The DP is by Reminisce called Making the Grade First Grade.

The hardest part is taking the picture. I use my big clip and hung them on my planters outside to try and get them together. They will look better in the book.

If you haven't been to Emma's blog you check it out. She is wonderful.
