Mini Monsters

I am having so much fun with my Cricut since I put all together my notebook of all my cartridges. They are just the sample pages but I get so many ideas and inspiration just looking through it. I am really trying to use it more.
Here is a card I made from Mini Monsters.

Isn't this just the cutest card? This cartridge has shape cards. It really is a fun cartridge.

Sassy Studio Design

Hi Everyone,
Did you get in on the free images from Sassy Studio Design last weekend at Paper Craft Planet?
Their Dare to be Sassy Thursday challenge this week is called 4 B's You are to use brads, buttons, bows and bling.
I used one of the free images.
I have everything but I didn't like a bow on the buttons I used so they are kinda knots.
I cut the words out using CC Billionaire and went over it with a glitter pen. The inside say treat. She is colored with Copic markers.
If you have any questions about my card please leave a comment.

Throwback Thursday

Hi Everyone,
I am so happy with my order from My Creative Time. I had to make something right way. I checked The Throwback Thursday Challenge and saw that it was a Cricutless Challenge with the colors Green, Purple, Orange and Black. So this is what I made.

I used My Creative Time - Small Talk,  My Creative Time - Gift Card Holder.  The cat is from Petaloo.com. The paper is K&Company Kelly Panacci Halloween. Kitty has green eyes stickle eyes but they just didn't show up in the light when I took the picture. I got a little heavy with the black stickles on the right side but it is Halloween and messy makes it look scary. Right? Well, that is my story and I am sticking to it.

This is headed to a friend with a Starbucks gift card inside.

Have a wonderful day and remember to do something that you love.

Hi Everyone,
This week at Tacky Tuesday the challenge is to use a dog cut from any Cricut cartridge or svg file and the word "woof or ruff" in you sentiment. I had so much fun making dog cards. I ended up making three. I am just going to show you one today.
Here is the first using one of my favorite dogs from Disney's Mickey and Friends.

Woof is dog for "Hi, how are you?" The paper I used is  Basic Gray Max and Whiskers. The ribbon is SU. The sentiment is cut and then I went over it with some distress Stickles.

Another CDAC Progressive Card

Hi There,
Here is another card I made with one of the free images from Crafter's Digital Art Center's Progressive Challenge. I love this image by Ellephantastic.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time set called Encouraging Quotes. When I chose to stay home with my sons, and then home schooled them, I would have been trilled to receive this card. It was a hard decision but I will never regret the time I spent with them.
The paper is from my scraps. The lace is from my lace haul.
I am entering this in the challenge at Sweet Stamps.com. The challenge there is to use Lace.

CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge

Hi, Have you checked out the Crafter's Digital Art Center's Progressive Challenge yet? It is so much fun. This time there are 5 free digital images and you have two weeks to do a project for one or all of the. Just do one project and you will get the next set of images. The images are back to school this week.  I don't think the project has to be back to school.
I made a book mark with the image by Jens Digi Stamps.

The bookmark was cut with the Black Letter Cricut Cartridge and the clear packaging that comes around the CC boxes (the blister pack).

I got the idea to use the blister pack from Tammy Skinner at Creative Critters Cricut Club. She has so many wonderful ideas.
Here is a video of what I did.

I would like to also enter this in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #76 challenge. The challenge is Back to School and to use ABC' and 123's.  I am a big advocate of getting children to read. When I taught first grade I would send 5 books home every night with my students. At first the parents thought I was nuts but then they ended up thanking me. The books were not long and they were at the child's reading level.  It was a very successful program.

Have a wonderful day and be sure to do something you love.

A Smash Book

Hi, I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. My weekend started with the best news. I made it on the LESSology design team.  Thank you so much to all of you who took the time to vote for me. They are having their very first challenge this week. The challenge is to alter an old board book or an old dictionary. Or make one from scratch. Be sure to check it out.
I have been working all weekend on smash or grunge books. They are so much fun.
I started with a 10 cent book from a garage sale.

This is how it ended up.

If you would like to see what is inside you will have to watch the video. There are a few surprises I know you will like.

Altering an old book is so much fun I hope you will join the challenge over at LESSology.
