A Jar full of Ribbons

Ribbons, Ribbons Everywhere!
Hi everyone, I love ribbon and have way too much and never enough. LOL
Raisin Boat has some wonderful ribbon that matches all their beautiful paper.
Here is a little gift I made using a Raisin Boat stamp set called Sealed with a Kiss.

Sealed With a Kiss

The jar stamp is so much fun and has so many possibilities. This card stands up because....

inside there is a bag with a bunch of little bow that I made. I cut the inside of the jar out and lined it with Raisin Boat Ribbon. Then I tie a bund of bows, bagged them up and attached them in the inside.

Accessories: Raisin Boat ribbon, Copic markers, Memento Black Tuxedo, Velcro strips. Small bows made from RB ribbon and a small jewelry bag.

This was  a fun card to make and a nice little thank you, or hello to a crafty friend who doesn't like to tie bows. LOL

Have a wonderful day and  thanks for stopping,

Art Journal Greatful

I have been posting videos and forget to post them here. Sorry I forget that some of you just get my blog post.
This is a picture from my Art Journal. I was inspired by Marianne at a Pocketful of Vintage. Her YT is Poketfullofvintage.

Here is my video.

Marianne has started a wonderful journal that she calls the Recipe For Happiness. The first page was Stop feeling sorry for yourself and the second was Be Grateful.
Here is the video for Stop feeling sorry for your self.

Here is Mariannes. I just love her accent. She is the sweetest lady and we are becoming very good friends. She uses so many wonderful techniques. It is fun to use what you have and try new techniques. I love the reflective side of this art project.

You are going to love her inspiration.

Have a wonderful day.

LESSology Challenge #17 Fun with Envelopes!

Oh Boy! We have a fun challenge this month at LESSology. It is  called Fun with Envelopes and I love to create with envelopes.

First let me tell you about our sponsor this month and what you can win.

Gauche Alchemy is our sponsor this month!! They are offering a $15 gift certificate to their store!!!

Here is some information on the fabulous Gauche Alchemy!

Gauche Alchemy is for those that create outside of the box, those that create inside of the box and those that tear the box a new one…

If your addiction is vintage ephemera, found objects, beautiful fabric, trendy paper or unique embellishments, we’re here to enable you – oh yeah! Our kits are designed to make you laugh, question social convention and remind us of our past (the good, the bad, the whimsical – even the downright kitschy).
Each kit is designed to jostle your creativity with unique tidbits, coordinated colors and delicious textures. If you are unaccustomed to working with our unique offerings, GOOD! Our goal is to encourage different ways of thinking about the art that is all around us. We are big fans of “upcycling” and hope to encourage others to join us on our path to “recycle, reuse, repurpose!”

Be sure to check out Gauche Alchemy! I can promise you will love them!

For my project I recycled some old mail envelopes to created a Christmas Helper Book.  I am going to use this to help me stay organized this year with my Christmas shopping. I first got this idea to use envelope this way from Tracy at Tracy's Treasures.

Here is the video of how I made my Christmas Helper book.

The stamp sets I used were Raisin Boat Handy Dandy Helpers and Highly Confidential

Please come and join this fun challenge over at LESSology.

Wine Lovers Swap at YPP

Happy Saturday!
I am in a swap over at Your Paper Pantry called Wine Lovers. This months the swap is to make a bag for a wine bottle. This was so much fun. I found a beautiful table cloth at St Vinnie's and was able to make four bags.
Here is what they look like.
Here is a video showing how I did this.

There is one more day to sign up for this fun swap at YPP. You only have to make 3 bags. That means I have one to keep for myself. Yay! Head over and check out all the fun swaps at Your Paper Pantry. Sign ups end on the 5th of the month.

Mail Art For YPP

The theme this month for the Mail Art Swap at Your Paper Pantry is call back to Nature. Well we were up at the cabin at the time and the first thing that came to my mind was an out house. LOL So that was my inspirations. We do have in-door pluming but we still have an out house. I have deemed it Men Only.
This isn't the best picture because it is a screen shot from the video I made.
Here is the video. You can watch me color with copic markers. I drew everything except the birds. They are a Raisin Boat stamp.
I would love to know what you think.

Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful day,
