Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday

Happy Saturday!
Time for another wonderful challenge at SSDS. This week we want to see what you are making for your mothers. That's right it is a mother's day challenge. Just in time, right?
Well here is my card.

The pendants are a stamp from SP and Company called Pretty Pendants Stamp set. I used a SU punch for the flower and some stickers for MOM. The Happy Mother's Day is from two SP and Company sets; Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Holidays and Mix 'n Match: Basic set.

We hope you will play along. I look forward to seeing all your Mother's Day creations. You have until next Friday to attach your project at SSDS.

Coloring Seam Binding

Hi Everyone, Today I dyed some seam binding and I made a video so you can see what I do.

Then I made a baby card using some.

I love the way it looks tie-dyed. The little pin I did by inking the head with Versa Mark and then dipped it in embossing powder and heated it up. I don't have many embossing powders so I mixed green and white to get this color. I will be looking for baby pins now too. I don't even think they sell them any more.
I am really on a baby card kick.  I hope that is a good thing for all you out there who want more children. I know how hard it can be when you want a baby and it just doesn't happen the way you think it should.

I used the colors for Colour Q challenge #82. The cuts are from New Arrivals. The sentiment is from SP & Company's "Ultimate Setiments I" stamp set.

If you have any questions just leave me a comment. I love comment. Thank you to all of you who leave them. I know how much time it can take when you visit lots of blogs.

Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful evening,

SP and Company

Happy Wednesday!

Here is my card.

I used SP & Company's "Candy Hearts" set for the Cutie Pie and the hearts and hugs on the little top. The Congratulations is from "Ultimate Sentiments I" stamp set. The little dress was cut using Cricut cartridge New Arrivals. It is always nice to have some congratulation on a new arrival on had.

There are an lot of fun things coming to SP & Company so be sure to check in often.

What's on your desk?

Laurel over at Paper and Scissors Rock! is having a challenge to use what is on your desk.
This is the card I made with the stuff on my desk.
I even have a video to show you that this was all on my desk.

I could have made many more cards or projects with all the stuff on my desk. This little card didn't even make a dent in all the stuff. It did cause me to clean up when I was done with this card and video. I hope you will join the challenge. I want to know that I am not the only one with a messy desk.

Hi, I hope you had a wonderful weekend.  I had fun playing with some new By LORi Designs images.
I used the new Lollipop Bunny to make my granddaughters Easter card.

The Happy Easter on the inside is from SP and Company, Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Basics Stamp Set.  The DP paper is We R' Memory Keepers and the base card is SU.

This is just one of the new By LORi images. Hop on over and checkout the other new pre Easter treats.

Stamp Scrap and Doodle Saturday

Happy Saturday to you all,
It is time for another Stamp, Scrap and Doodle challenge. This week we have a recipe: 3 pattern papers, 3 flowers, 3 sparkles, 1 ribbon...you can use anything else that you want as long as it contains these things.
Here is my card:
There are three papers from basic Gray I think. The three flowers have sparkle. The happy birthday is an old SU stamp and the ribbon is  from Bo Bunny I think. All the paper was in my scrap bin. I used SU very vanilla for the card base and punched a hole with a circle punch in the right hand cornor. Then I punch a flower and circle in it to get the little flower around the sentiment which is stamped on the liner on the inside of the card.
This is really a fun challenge and I hope you will join us at SSDS.  I look for ward to seeing what you come up with.

I Love Beads and Pins

Hi Everyone I hope you are having a wonderful week.
I went to my first garage sale of the season. Yeepee! I only got was a small bag of beads but that is OK because I know I will use what I got. I have been making pins to go on my cards and I am really having fun.
Last weekend I got the Tim Holtz Dress form diecut. When I got it home I was a little disapointed in the size.  It is a bit to big for an A2 card. I desided to use it right away.  I created a larger card for a special friend.
Here is what it looks like.
Now you have to watch the video to see what is inside. Sorry I like making videos. I am hoping that I will get better with practice.  The video also shows how I make the pins I am using on my cards.

I hope my creations motivate you today.

Well it is Wednesday and that means it is time for a SP & Company card.
For my card today I made a bouquet of flowers by layering some flowers that I had. That made me think of  the sentiment "Thanks a Bunch" from SP & Company's set Mini Card Creations II . I also used Pretty Pendants from SP & Company to frame the sentiment. Then I added three stick pins that I made. The leaves are from Micheal's.
I hope you enjoyed my card and that you will head over to SP & Company to check out all the wonderful stamps.

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge

Hi I have a card I made for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and Birthday Sundaes Challenge. I love that their challenge is to help you build up your birthday card stash. I read about it over at Scraps 4 Fun. Have you been to Sonia's blog? It really is fun. Her cards are wonderful.  Designed2Delight's is Birthday Sundaes Challenge sponsor this week so I went to their blog and they had this wonderful image for free. I was in the mood to make a vintage card and this is what I came up with.
I use Copic markers to color the image. Next I distressed it with SU Chocolate Chip. The ribbon is some of the seam binding that I dyed with SU Creamy Caramel. I am having a lot of fun with that spool of seam binding. The brad is a SU one.
I think that is all but if you have any questions I would be happy to get back to you. Make sure you leave a way I can get a hold of you.

SP and Company

Hi Happy Wednesday,
Today I have another SP & Company card for you. I used Easter Eggy stamp set to create this "Hi Chickie" card. Even though this set has Easter in its name it can be used to make an everyday card. I love that about SP & Company sets. The have so many uses.
The wreath is from a local stamp store and I used black embossing powder. The flowers were punched with a SU punch. The little bird is stamped, cut out and popped up. The sentiment  and bird are from the Easter Eggy Stamp set. The paper is Cosmo Cricket and the ribbon is SU.
Friday, I will be the guess designer at SP and Company so be sure to stop back. I am going to use one of Samantha's new digi stamps. Now head over to SP and Company and see what the other designers have created for you today.
