Eagle Watch This is amazing

Hi Everyone,
This is so amazing. I am not getting anything done because I can't stop watching.
It is a UStream live of an eagle with 3 eggs. A friend said they might hatch tomorrow. The camera zooms in and out. It is so amazing.
Check it out here.

These are pictures I took of my screen. If you have a Mac did you know all you have to do is shift command 3 it takes a picture of your screen? It is cool.

If you watch please leave a comment I what to know what you think. It is so amazing.

SP and Company

Happy Wednesday!
I am going to be short today.  I got called in to teach today. I am still recovering from my card making weekend. We stayed up until 1:00AM Friday and Saturday making cards. I am too old for those hours but we were having so much fun. I will share the cards later.
The card I have for you today is one for SP and Company. I made this card for my son's birthday which is on Friday. He is an April Fools Baby who will be 27. Wow how does that happen?
Here is his card.
The Happy Birthday is from the SP & Company set called  Mix 'm Match Sentiments: Basics. This is a great set that I find very useful. Samantha has great sentiment stamps. Be sure to check them out.
The cat is a Penny Black and I colored it with memonto ink and a white jell pen. The sentiment on the flower I make on my computer. It is a joke between my son and his roommate's cat. I know it will make him laugh.
The sketch is from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 110.

Well I am off to face 30 first graders and that means I will be too tired to craft tonight. I do have a video I want to do for you. I learned something really cool last weekend. So be sure to stop back.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping,

Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday

Hi Everyone,
When you are reading this I will be attending the Madison Mingle making 50 cards. It is a three day event and so much fun. So picture me knee deep in paper and tape, or sitting a yacking. LOL

This week at Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday our challenge is a Photo Inspiration.
Isn't it pretty. Well I went with the tea theme because I wanted to use my Cricut.
I made another little ribbon flower and the stems are made from a snowflake. I added a little boarder with a MS punch and that is the same punch I used on the white liner inside.
I hope you will join us this week at SSDS. I look forward to seeing all your creations.

Guest Designer at SP and Company

Hi Everyone,
I am so excited to be the guest DT at SP and Company again this week. I made a fun card using "Easter Eggy." I really am enjoying this stamp set. You can do more that just Easter cards with it. I created this spring card that says, "You're my favorite chick."

The little flower was made by following this tutorial by Jaydee at Stampin with Jaydee.
I just want you to know that I didn't waist 3 layers of paper. Before I glued the layers together I punched out some things to use on other cards. This is what it looks like under the top image.  I don't know if this means I am cheap or clever.
Now head over to SP & Company to see all of Samantha's lovely stamps and cards.

Card Recipe
  • Stamps:  SP & Company :Easter Eggy"
  • Paper:  Bashful Blue, Cert Celery, Marina Mist, Blushing Bride
  • Ink: Bashful Blue, Cert Celery, Blushing Bride, Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight to color the chicks
  • Acc:  Bashful Blue Ribbon, MS ivory pearl stickers

Stamp TV Bunny Week Challenge

Hi Everyone,
I have two cards for you tonight. The first one I made for  the Bunny Week Challenge Mary is having at Cardz TV

I use Country live Cricut cartridge to cut this cute bunny. The fence was made with a MS boarder punch. I added a little twill to the bow. The sentiment is Mix n' Match Basics from SP & Company. I added flower soft to the bunny's tail, his nose and the flowers. The flower stamp is CTMH. The little pears are MS. The face was stamped with a Peachy Keen set.

This next card is one I made to take to the card mingle I am going to this weekend. I made 25 of them. Some of the people bring cards to trade. This year we are donating cards to Operation Write Home so I have a big stack for that and any of these that are left over will be going into the box as well.

This was a very quick card. I used SU Nature Walk and the Very Vintage wheel. I added just a little bit of color with SU chalks. The inside is lined and punched with MS branches punch. Sorry I didn't take a picture of that. I really love this stamp set.
Well I need to get packed up for my weekend I am so excited. There are 50 ladies attending this year so we will be making 50 cards.

Yieppie Let The Fun Begin!

Be sure to stop by tomorrow. I am the guest DT at SP & Company.

My New Adventure

Hi Everyone,
I want to share my new adventure/venture with you. For the past four years I have using a Young Living Oil called "Thieves" to keep from getting colds from my first graders. Recently I have been going to a acupuncturist to relieve my shoulder pain. She is using these wonderful oils and I am learning so much about them.  I wanted to share with you what I am learning. I have found a channel on You Tube that tells all about the oils better than I can.  This first link is to Kenneth Gardner. He will tell you all about what Essential Oils are. Kenneth dose a great job.
This next video tells about my favorite oil and the one I use the most. Thieves. It has an interesting history. The story is...

Black Plague & Thieves Oil

Century after century, bubonic plague outbreaks decimated the population of Asia and Europe for the better part of a thousand years. Out of this period emerged a legend of four thieves who were captured and charged with robbing the dead and dying victims. When the thieves were tried, the magistrate offered leniency if they would reveal how they resisted contracting the infection as they performed their gruesome acts. They told of a special concoction of aromatic herbs, including garlic, cloves and rosemary, that they rubbed on themselves before committing their crimes. The proprietary Thieves oil blend was created with this legend in mind. Studies conducted at Weber State University in 1997 showed it to have a 99.96% success rate against airborne bacteria. The bacteria cultures were sprayed in an enclosed area, and Thieves oil blend was diffused for a given amount of time.

I use Thieves when I am going to be around people with colds, going on a plane or feel like I am coming down with a cold.  It also is great for the cold sores I get when I eat tomatoes or strawberries.

Kenneth will tell you in this video many other reasons to use all the thieves products.
Now my new venture is that I am a Young Living Independent Distributor and I would love to tell you more about these wonderful oils and how they can help you.  If you are interested please contact me. I would love to know everyone was using Thieves.

A By LORi Design Card

Today I have a card I made using one of my favorite By LORi Design  Lollipop images called Bumble Bee.

I colored it with Copic Markers. Then I gave him some wire antennae and attached it to the card base. The card base and flowers were cut using Create a Critter. Then I added some Stickles to make it sparkles. I have such a hard time waiting for the Stickles to dry. Today I was busy doing other things so I didn't mess it up.
I think this is a fun little card. Next time I am going to make the image larger. That is the fun part about digi images. You can check out Lori's images here.

SP and Company New Stamps

Happy Wednesday!
I got a special treat in the mail yesterday. It is time for the new stamps at SP & Company. The set that I got is called Easter Eggy Stamp Set
Here is my card:
This was a quick card. I used glassy accents on the eggs and in the embossing at the bottom. This is a great stamp set with a lot of cards possibilities.
I had a very busy day that started with making this card at 6:00AM. Then I went to Zumba class. Next I want to the acupuncturist. Then a late lunch with my son. He answered a lot of my questions about my blog and I have him working on an image for me to use at a logo. It is so cute I can't want to show you.

I hope you will check out all the new stamps at SP & Company.

This card works for Papertake Weekly Challenge which is three of something. The sponsor is The Ribbon Girl. Ohhhh! I would love to win some of her beautiful ribbon.

Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday Spring Has Sprung.

Happy Saturday,
As you are reading this I will be learning how to use Essential Oils to increase my energy and relieve my shoulder pain. I am a Young Living Independent Distributor. I have never sold one bottle but I love to use the oils. I need to work on my selling skills. LOL They really are wonderful! If you are interested in learning more about essential oils please let me know.
We have a fun and easy challenge for you this week at Stamp, Scarp and Doodle Saturday. We would like to see your spring creations. I use a new Wax Fruit Company image.
This image is called "Tulips" and I put them in the image called "Ball Jar" using PSE.  I used two SP & Company sets for the sentiment that is hiding behind the bow. It says "Sending You Spring." I colored the image with Copic markers. The little white pearls around the image were made with a Viva Decor Pearl Pen. The ones in the corners are Hero Arts.
So now it is your turn. Be sure to check out what the other DT's have for you and post your creations. We only had 7 people last week. That is lowest ever. Head over to SSDS and see what Regina has lined up for you for a prize. I am looking forward to seeing all your creations.

Have a wonderful Saturday!

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone,
Well the snow is not staying around long. As soon as I cleaned the driveway it started to melt fast. I am pretty happy about that.

Did I tell you that I won a gift certificat at My Favorite Things?  Well I did and I went shopping right away. I spent twice what the prize was but it was like getting everything half off. LOL
I got some felt and a tiny Die-namics Musical Notes die and a PI stamp set called You're So Tweet.
I used it for this weeks sketch challenge.
Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
Isn't she just the sweetest? I really love the Pure Innocence stamps. I used the colors from the Colour Q challenge this week.

I only had one guess on what I used in the center of the buttercup on the SP&Co card. It was a snowflake from the Winter Lace cartridge. I got the idea to use a snowflake from someone on the web but I can't remember who. If it was you thank you. It was a great idea.

I am tired tonight. That snow was heavy and the fresh air always make me tired.

Have a wonderful evening!
