4th of July Banner

I was in a swap with Gale the Happy Stamper.
It was a vintage 4th of July Banner Swap. Everyone made 8 of the same thing. Gale gave us each a letter. Here is what it looks liked hanging on our door.
I made the letter "L".

You really can't see it in this picture.

Here is the video of what I did and all the lovely banner pieces I got from the ladies in the swap.

He loved his card.
I was inspired to make this card from a very talented card maker named Karen from Karen's Kreative Kards. You can see her card Here.

LESSology Challenge #15

Hi Everyone, I am so excited about sharing my creations for this challenge. I had so much fun putting it together. The challenge is called The Bookend Challenge.

I started with a few things I found in my collection of "Interesting Things I Just Have to Have."

There is an old domino box, an old wood and metal stamp, two old metal jelly molds and some pieces of pine.
Then I painted, drilled, glued and this is how it turned out.
Most of the wood is painted black and covered with Graphic 45 paper.
I made one of the jelly molds into a pin cushion and the other one is to hold teasures.
I added old buttons, dominos, a broken zipper, bobbins, a lock, a key and even some lace.

The video shows how I created my bookends. There is a hidden box and some tricks to keep your bookends in place.  I hope you will be inspired to create some of your own and join in our challenge here at LESSology. I am so excited about sharing my creations for this challenge. I had so much fun putting it together.

I hope you will be inspired to create some of your own and join in our challenge this month at LESSology.

Merry Monday Card!

Another Christmas card for you today. I followed Merry Monday sketch challenge.

Here is my card.
I stamped the ornament with a SU stamp and used glossy accents and SU Dazzling Diamonds. The picture isn't showing the detail on the stamp but it looks really pretty. I think I made my DP a little too big but I was't paying attention I guess. Then I used a SU stamp for the the sentiment and a Spellbinders Label dye to cut it out. I added a little white pen to add some detail.  The DP is old stuff I am trying to use up.

If you have any questions about my card please ask.

Thank You Sharon

Three post in one day. Boy I love it when I can stay home. Well I do take Lucy in to get her Soft Paws and wash the car but I still got to play in my craft room all afternoon.
Here is the video of the sweet RAK I received from a dear sweet lady named Sharon who live in OH.
Thank you so much Sharon. That was so kind of you.
Thanks for stopping,

Merry Monday

Here the sketch for the Merry Monday Challenge.
And here is my card.
I am using all my scraps of Christmas paper so I can not tell you the name of the paper . The slide and toys are a layered cut out. I do know that the sentiment is by Little Yellow Bicycle. This was fun quick card. No stamping but I still love how it turned out.

Now I am going to work on the video of the third RAK I received this week.

Later,

Christmas card

Hi Everyone, Wow it has been a crazy wonderful week. I received three amazing RAKs this week. I will put the third video up later.  I went to a Spiritual Response Therapy session on Wednesday and that was amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone who is open  that short of thing. And I started an art journal thanks to some inspirations from some wonderful ladies on YT.
BUT today I have a Christmas card to share with you.

The Christmas Card Challenge Week #26 is to use bling. I made this card while we were still at the cabin and I only has a couple of packages of bling with me. One happened to be some tiny stars from Amuse. I added them to the tree and the flowers at the bottom. I used Graphic 45 paper and a piece of velvet ribbon.
I hope you can see the bling. It is a pretty card in person.

Ok I am off to make another Christmas card.
