YPP New Swap

Hi There, Your Paper Pantry is having a new Art Trading Card Swap. The theme is Postage Stamps. I used some beautiful postcards and stamps I found when cleaning out my in-laws house. They are very old and at first it was hard to cut but I have a lot and they are too cool to have shoved in the back of a closet. So I cut three, added some Glossy Accents and very old canceled stamps. They were so pretty I really couldn't do much to them.
This is the front.
Here is what the backs look like.

And a video telling what I did to make these ATC.

Thanks for stopping and taking a look.
Hugs,

January WPP Ticket Swap

Hello Again,
It is time to start another fun year of swapping tickets over at Your Paper Pantry. This year I am going to make some changes in the swap. I am asking the swapper to just make 5 tickets. The tickets should be at least 2X3.  This first month the theme is Valentines.
Here are some tickets to get you started.
Each ticket should be packaged individually with the name of the artist on each ticket or on the package. You need to be a member of Your Paper Pantry to join the swaps. It is only $12 a year and so worth it. YPP is my favorite place to play.
Here is a video telling more about the swap and the tickets I created.

Sign up start December 25 and is open until January 5th.
I hope to see you over at Your Paper Pantry!

Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year!

Hugs,

Merry Christmas and A New Challenge.

Hi Everyone,
Merry Christmas!

Today I am kicking off  a new Challenge at Your Paper Pantry.  This challenge will get you ready for next Christmas.  This year, 2013, I ran out of hand made Christmas cards and was frantic making last minute cards. Well I am not going to let that happen next year, 2014. I figure if I make 5 Christmas cards each month I should have 55 to 60 cards ready by next Christmas. That is just about right for me. If you need more, make more, or use your extras for gifts or to sell at a craft sale.

Here is how this challenge will work. Each month I will made a suggestion for your five cards and share what I make. You will then make 5 cards and share yours at YPP in the discussion. You will need to be a member. It is only $12 a year and worth every cent. The cards do not have to be like the example. They can all be the same or something different. Some people like all their cards to be the same. The whole idea is to have all the homemade cards you need next December. Now to keep you motivated. I will be putting the names, of everyone who shares a picture of the 5 cards each month, into a hat for a prize next December 2014.  There may be some surprise drawing along the way.

Here are the cards I made for the first challenge.

Five down 50 to go. LOL
Here is my video telling all about the challenge.
I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas!

I have been busy making cards for money gifts. It was fun using some beautiful Christmas scrap book paper.
Here is a video showing what I did.

Christmas Day I will be sharing a new Challenge over at Your Paper Pantry. I hope you will come back and check it out. Until then I hope you are ready for the big day and find some time to breath and enjoy the wonder of the season. For me I am getting ready for a big snowstorm to hit.

Some Books I Made

I made some books for a local gift shop. I hope they find there way under someones tree.
I had fun using my Scrabble letters on the covers of these.

This next one is a birthday or card book for my Aunt Pat. She just turned 92. The book has cards, stamps and address labels. I should make one for me. LOL I did add more to the cover but sent it before I updated the pictures.

Here is the video I made while I was working.

More Raisin Boat Christmas

Hello There,
Boy have I been busy! Thanksgiving was wonderful. Three of our 4 sons and there girlfriends came for  dinner. I was exhausted. It has taken me a week to recover. LOL
Well I did get another card and tag made. I used Raisin Boat Stamps and had fun creating them.
The tag was made from Sealed With a Kiss and North Pole Toymakers.  The card was made using Elves Are Watching and Crunch Time.
Here is a video for you.
I hope you will join the challenge.  There still is time to link your creation. Remember you do not have to use Raisin Boat stamps.
