Halloween Fun

Last year I made a Captured Fairy Jar and that was fun. But I really like fairies and don't think they should be captured. Now I don't like creepy things and you can capture all of those that you want.  So I came up with the Captured Eyeball. Now it can't be any eyeball. It had to be one from something creepy. So here is the eyeball I captured.
The tag reads, on the other side...

Captured Eyeball
This was the left eyeball of the Ork of Prairie-vill. It was captured in the slim of the Mud Creek on the 13thday of September 2012 at midnight.
Do not open Jar.

I also made some mouse trap note holders. I got the idea for this from shellyhickox.blogspot.com on Pinterest.
Here are a couple I made.

Here is the video telling how I created the Mousetrap Message Clip and My Captured Eyeball.

I hope you are having fun creating and doing what makes you happy.

Game Piece Swap

I have been so busy with the fun swaps over at Your Paper Pantry. One of the swap is an embellishment swap. I signed up to recreate game pieces and the theme was Vintage Halloween.
Here is what one side looks like.
I used a domino and a bingo chip.
To find out how I did this you can watch the video. You can see the other side too.
It really was a lot of messy fun. My favorite kind.  The swaps a YPP are so much fun and the talent is just amazing.

Happy Anniversary LESSology!

We are having a anniversary. LESSology is one year old and our challenge is call It's a Wrap

For my project I recycled a brown shopping bag that I got from a coffee shop and made a Christmas gift bag.

I covered it with Christmas Designer Paper and a Martha Stewart punch to decorate the top.

Next I used a Raisin Boat stamp called Elves on Staff to decorate the front of the bag.

Here is the video of how it went from a brown bag to a gift bag.

I hope you will join us for our month-long celebrations. All you have to do is up cycle something into a giftbox or bag.

Here's the wonderful prize package you could win.

Now get that tap and paper out and start wrapping!

Thanks for stopping,

A Jar full of Ribbons

Ribbons, Ribbons Everywhere!
Hi everyone, I love ribbon and have way too much and never enough. LOL
Raisin Boat has some wonderful ribbon that matches all their beautiful paper.
Here is a little gift I made using a Raisin Boat stamp set called Sealed with a Kiss.

Sealed With a Kiss

The jar stamp is so much fun and has so many possibilities. This card stands up because....

inside there is a bag with a bunch of little bow that I made. I cut the inside of the jar out and lined it with Raisin Boat Ribbon. Then I tie a bund of bows, bagged them up and attached them in the inside.

Stamp Set Sealed with a Kiss. Raisin Boat Cardstock BHC Brighton Beach White

Accessories: Raisin Boat ribbon, Copic markers, Memento Black Tuxedo, Velcro strips. Small bows made from RB ribbon and a small jewelry bag.

This was  a fun card to make and a nice little thank you, or hello to a crafty friend who doesn't like to tie bows. LOL

Have a wonderful day and  thanks for stopping,

Art Journal Greatful

I have been posting videos and forget to post them here. Sorry I forget that some of you just get my blog post.
This is a picture from my Art Journal. I was inspired by Marianne at a Pocketful of Vintage. Her YT is Poketfullofvintage.

Here is my video.

Marianne has started a wonderful journal that she calls the Recipe For Happiness. The first page was Stop feeling sorry for yourself and the second was Be Grateful.
Here is the video for Stop feeling sorry for your self.

Here is Mariannes. I just love her accent. She is the sweetest lady and we are becoming very good friends. She uses so many wonderful techniques. It is fun to use what you have and try new techniques. I love the reflective side of this art project.

You are going to love her inspiration.

Have a wonderful day.
