Today I found something else I love to make. The flower on this card was so much fun. It was made with tissue paper that was inked and cut with Nestabilities. I got the idea from LeAnne at Wee Inkling. She made one for the Just Us Girls Challenge Week 4. You can watch a video tutorial, there, so check it out!The colors for Color Throwdown #66 are Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant and Bordering Blue. I didn't have Bordering blue ink, just card stock. The flower was inked with Bashfull Blue. I really like the way the Bordering Blue looks silver. The flower would look much better in that color. So that is on my wish list for the next SU class. The center of the flower is a SU Build a Brad with an Elegant Eggplant center. The Sentiment is from CTMH and cut with Nestabilities. I embosssed the strips with a cuttlebug folder. I just love making these flowers. They are easy and look great, and because they are tissue paper they will go in an envelope easily.
