LESSology Hanging Mobile

Please go here for my Advent calendar give away. You have 6 more days to enter.

Hi Everyone, We have a wonderful challenge for you at LESSology this week. The challenge is to create a hanging mobile. Our sponsor this week is Nikki Sivils Scrapbooker

I really have fun with this challenge.
This is what I started with. It is an old rusty wreath I found at our cabin.

I took the geese off and painted white. Then I used an old necklace, that I got at a yard sale for $.25, to hang it.
Next I created stars to have from it.

Here is the mobile I created.

The stars are created by folding five squares in half twice and one angle fold. Pull the angle folds in so it looks like a square. Then glue them together.

Here is a video to show you how.

I hope you will join use at LESSology this week for our fun challenge.
Thanks for stopping,

A Wreath for My Door Another LESSology Idea

I am so excited about this project. I saw this wreath at Shellyb140's YT channel and I had to give it a try. She has made some of the most amazing fall and Halloween decorations.
Here is how it looks on my door.

Here is a video to who how I got started.

This is another example of something you can hang on your wall which is the challenge at LESSology this week. I hope you will join us. There is a great prize.

LESSology DT Call

Hi Everyone, Last week I told you about a new blog called LESSology. Well this week they are having a DT call. I would love to be on this team because I love to create altered projects and upcycle found treasures. As soon as I saw this call I went to my collection of "to be" upcycled treasures and found this box that I got from St Vinnies. I think I paid $1.00 for it.

I ended up with this.
Here is the video showing what I did.

I am giving this to a friend for her office. I will be adding cards and stamps to the pockets. I hope she likes it and finds it useful.

Wish me luck on the DT call.
Thanks for stopping by today.
