Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma

I am so tired today. Tuesday and Thursday I am in a water aerobic class followed by a water yoga class. I love these two class but today I must have worked out too hard and then got too relaxed because I haven't had any energy left for the rest of the day.
I did have enough energy to get these fun Christmas gift tags made for the Throwback Thursday Challenge.
The stuffed animals are from Hallmark. They are so funny. They sing, dance and jingle bells. I laugh every time I turn it on.

Emma's challenge this week is to make a Christmas theme project of your choice using Celebrations cartridge. It is a challenge because that cartridge is more of a birthday cartridge. I love this little gift cut. I used my Gypsy to wield two together to make a gift tag card. The paper is some Christmas paper I had. The kitty and puppy are also on this cartridge.
Yesterday Emma's new video came in the mail and I sat down and watched it all. I think it influenced me to use the kitty and puppy. That is all I am going to tell you. You will have to get your own copy. It really is a good one.
Here are a couple of close ups of the tags.
I cut the whiskers off and drew in whiskers with a fine tip pen.
The eyes are from a Peachy Keen stamp set.
I used stickles to dress up the ribbon and hats. Gift tags are so much fun to make.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today.

Thanks for stopping,

Throwback Thursday Challenge with Emma

Happy Friday! I made this card today for Emma's Throwback Thursday challenge #8. I love that she has these challenges because it gets me to use my Cricut Cartridges.  I used my Gypsy to design it. I don't have a Peachy Keen stamp to fit the puppy face so I inked a nose and stamped it then I inked eyes and stamped them from the set below. I used chalk to color him and a white and black pen for detail. The Happy Birthday is kinda hard to cut out but I used Megan's cutting guide from Above Rubies Studio. It is a helpful tool. You have until tomorrow to enter Emma's challenge and she has a really great prize.

Do you see my new card holder? I was in an antique store looking for one and the sweet lady said she saw one at St Vinnie's.  So I headed right over. I only paid $3.50 for it. I am sure if it was at an antique store it would have cost a lot more. I have seen other people use them and have wanted one for about a year now. Boy was I happy when I found it still sitting right were shes told me it was. Then  I looked around and found the big stack of envelopes. I love treasure hunts when I find something useful.

I have another card to show you later today but I need to go to the grocery store before it starts raining again. So be sure to stop back.
