Challenge #2 Getting Scrappy

Challenge number 2 at The Pink Stamper is to Get Scrappy and use up scraps. I needed someone to give me a kick to get my granddaughters scrapbook started and this was it. Now being a teacher I have a very hard time cutting apart books. This poor book was so loved it could not be repaired. I just could not throw it away, which is another thing first grade teachers have a hard time doing. Our family is all about fishing as you may have noticed. I thought it would make a great addition to Cora's scrapbook. The fish were cut from scraps using Paper Doll Dress up cartridge. The check paper was also in the scrap pile.
The birth announcement was made by Cora's mom. She is so talented. She makes the most amazing clothes from recycled materials.
I really like the way this page turned out. Now I just have to keep at it. I have lots and lots of pictures of her already.
Thanks for stopping,

What a really great idea! How adorable to add to a scrapbook page. She is such a china doll.

Fantastic use of an old worn out book! Good reason to save them, I'd say. This is an adorable page. Cora will have such a wonderful legacy in it.
