Challenge #6

Well I didn't get much crafting done today because I spent four hours weeding a garden. My hands are so sore but the garden looks pretty good.
I wanted to play along with another one of Robyn's challenges. The Pink Stamper Challenge #6 is Kids Craft too. We are going to be celebrating Earth Day and Mother's Day this week at school. I know we are late for earth day but with the program early last week our Earth Day got rescheduled to this coming Friday. I thought this would be a great time to teach my class how to make flowers out of old telephone books. I am going to take my Cuttlebug and nestibilities. They will think it is great fun cranking the handle. We made applesauce in the fall and I took my Apple Peeler Slicer. They thought that was cool. I'll poke the hole but they will but in the brad and scrunch up the layers. There will be 9 layer. Three layers of three sizes. I was going to use the small nesties but I bet they will talk me into the larger ones. We will be using these on our Mother's Day gifts. We will be recycleing and making something special for mom. The challenge ends tomorrow. I don't think I will have time to post a picture of them making their flower. I hope this is OK for the challenge.
Thanks for stopping,

I got one student at work. They think the Cuttlebug is cool!

Great recycling idea and I bet the kids will have fun using a tool that helps them cut things more easily.
