Stamp Scrap and Doodle Saturday!

Happy Saturday! Only one day to go to the BIG Game!

This has been such a fun week with the Love is in the Air Blog Hop. I want to thank everyone who joined in and thank you so much for the sweet comment and becoming followers. I will be picking a winner later today. Your comment mean so much.

We have a great challenge for you this week at Stamp Scrap and Doodle. We are calling it  "Get Punchy."  We are asking that you use some sort of punch, border, image hole punch, what ever you have.

I used three SU  punches to create this card.
The large petals and leaves are the Ornament Extra Large punch.
The two center yellow and green petals are done with the Boho Blossoms punch. And the 5 Petal Flower Extra Large is the star in the middle.
I got the idea for the colors from Colour Q 68 challenge.
To get the texture on the petals I used a wood grain embossing folder by Tim Holtz. The stamp is from an Impression Obsession Sympathy set. The message inside is stamped with a quote from an Irish Tombstone, "Death leaves a heartache, No one can heal, Love leaves a memory No one can steal." I love that saying.

I hope you will join us this week. I look forward to seeing your creations.

 Thanks for stopping,

You are wonderful!!! I would never have thought of using a punch that way. I use to only use my cricut but not I see that I need to get stamps, embossers, and punches. I am now wanting to try new ideas Thanks!!!

Gorgeous flower Linda. Love this design.

And thanks for the sweet comment that you left me this week. So nice to know that someone out there understands having a child with PDD. :)

This is great. I always have trouble making punchouts work in another form. Too far outside my comfort zone I guess.

Go Packers! I know where we will all be tomorrow!!
