A Peachy Keen Challenge

Today I have a birthday gift bag I made for my Aunt Pat's 89th birthday gift. I made it following Peachy Keen Stamp Challenge. The challenge is to use a lunch sack or a paper grocery bag. I was excited when I saw this challenge because I have been getting these bags from the store I get my tea and coffee. You know I couldn't throw them away.
I used my Cricut Paper Dolls for Everyday to make the kitten. The face is from the adorable Tear Kitty Face Parts (PK 138) from Peachy Keen. I just love this stamp set, and I want to get more PK cat stamps. They are so cute.
The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper More Punny-licious. I kinda mixed up the sentiment stamp to get it the way I wanted it.
I love having these bags to re-use. As much as I love paper it is so hard for me to buy and use wrapping paper. I use to buy it the day after Christmas and I always made my gifts look beautiful. Then I went through a phase were I only used the comics. It is wonderful for gifts. Now I love gift bags and if I can recycle or recreate one all the better.

Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge #69

Happy Monday!
Time for another Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Challenge.
Here are the colors for this weeks challenge.

I needed a break from Halloween cards so here is what I came up with:

Don't you just feel so bad for that poor little kitty? He looks so sad.

I used the Allegro EB folder to make it look like the bird was singing. The sentiment is from a set from MFT Pure Innocents called My Umbrella. The Cricut cartridge is a Lite called Meow. I used a Peachy Keen stamp for his face.

Please join us this week at SPCC. Be sure to check out the blog to see what wonderful prize Samantha has for you this week. We only had a few cards last week. Your have a good chance to win one of the great prizes. I look forward to seeing your creations.

I Made a TB Book

Happy Wednesday!
I took the day to make something I have wanted to make for a year. Recently I watched Mary at Cardz TV make one and she gave the best directions. I knew I would be able to do it with her video.
I made this for Peachy Keen Challenge 38. Their challenge is to  create a layout or project based on the season. The only catch is that it can't be a card! Since it is an October challenge a Thanksgiving feast scene wouldn't really work for this challenge, but gourds, pumpkins, etc. would be appropriateSo right away I thought here is a great chance to make that TP book I have been wanting to try.
Here is my fall book.
I just love those PK faces. With a little white pen they just pop.
Here is page two or "a". I used my Gypsy to plan the cuts.
Do you see the little face on the "a"?
I used We R Memory Keepers paper from a pack called  Maple Grove. The little frame came in the pack of paper. I left the top open to slide in a picture.
Here is page 3. The right side is for a picture.
I cut the leaves and basket from different cartridges.
And page 4. I love the face I used on the caterpillar. He has glasses on.

Inside each page is a tag. Here is what they look like.

This is another judge challenge and the winner will receive a $25.00 Gift Certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps! I sure hope it is me.

I used my new  Cinch by We R Memory Keepers to bind it.
Boy do I love this new tool. I got it at the Baker's Wife

I  have to thank Mary at Cardz TV for the great directions. She is wonderful. If you haven't been to her blog you are missing something.

I think I will go see if there are any other challenges this card will work for.

Let me know what you think about my book. Have a great night and thanks for stopping

A Cute Little Critter

It seems like forever since I could make a card for some fun challenges. I made the decision to buy the Create a Critter because of this little guy. When I was visiting my granddaughter her mom told me that groundhogs were going to me her favorite animal. I think it has to do with Mom and Dad spending a year in New Zealand the year before they got married. I think he is so cute.

I used the colors from Color Throwdown this week. They are Chocolate Chip, Blush Blossom, and Mellow Moss. When I looked at the samples everyone had beautiful flowers and very pretty cards, but I thought they were great colors for my little friend.
I used a Peachy Keen Everyday Character stamp for his face. I embossed the card and panel with a SU EF and a CG EF. The little flower is a sticker. That is the challenge at Pile it On. The sketch is CPS card sketch 172. The inside liner is punched with a Martha Stewart boarder punch. I used some SU chalk and a white jel pen. The thank you is a Raisin Boat stamp. I stamped it on paper punched with a SU punched called Curly Lable Punch. Another challenge this card fits is Caardvarks, which is stamp and embossing.
Let me know what you think. I loved making this little guy and if you don't have a Cricut or would just like some to put on cards I would be happy to make some for you.
