I got up at 4:45 to blow the snow a second time from this last storm. When I came in I found out we are on a 2 hour delay. That means I don't have to leave the house until 9:00. Boy I really could have used that sleep, but now I am awake and I get to show you what I made. This is what I made for my students for Valentines day. My friend was going to toss all the white cardstock from the pages in a new scrapbook. It is perfect for card bases. The cards are cut 6" X 4.25" and scored at 3". The DP is from Creative Imaginations. It is what I used on the last card and it was 50% off paper. I cut it at 2 7/8" X 4 1/8". The hearts were with my Cricut Doodlecharms Cartarage. The face is a Peachy Keen Stamps. I love those faces. The ribbon and Valentine brads I got to match the paper from one of my favorite scrapbook store. The inside stamp is a Hero Arts stamp. We are not suppose to give candy treats so the treats are small boxes of raisins and fruit snack. I put the card and the treats is a clear bag. Next I made a topper out of white card stock cut at 5 X 5" so that I could use a MS punch. I don't like that you are limited to the size to do the corner, but I do love the punch. I only did the bottom. They children are 7 years old. I don't think they will notice and I already have a bit of time invested on this project. There is house work I could do. LOL I stamped the topper with SU's stamp I{heart}Heart. Then I punched two holes with a MM Crop a dile II and tied it with pink ribbon. Boy I love the Crop-a-dile II a lot more then the other one and I got it on sale at WM for $20. I watched that for a long time before I bought it.
This was a fun project for me to make I hope children enjoy them. It also work for a couple of challenges, Creative Card Crew Challenge 44 Valentines, and Tuesday Taggers which is Love. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping and have a great day,
