Christmas Cards
Hello There,
I finished my two cards for this weeks Christmas challenges.
This first one is for Christmas Card Challenge week #13.
The challenge is to incorporate Music in your card. Right away I thought of this old SU set I have called Over the River.
I used the music embossing folder on some Gina K Pure Luxury Card stock All Spruced Up. Next I added a sheet of music paper from an old song book. The image is edged with gold. I hand cut the sentiment inked it and layered it on more green paper and cut it out again.
The second card is for Merry Monday Challenge #9 The Sketch is from Torico.
I used another old SU stamp set. This is one of the first SU sets I bought back in in 2001 call Snow Angels.
The base card is Gina K Pure Luxury Card stock All Spruced Up. The next layer is embossed with snowflakes. The green plaid and poke a dot on his snow suit is from a 6x6 Cosmo Cricket pack called Mitten Weather. I colored the snow, his face, mittens and boots with copic markers. I lined both cards and they are now they are in my antique suit case with all the other Christmas cards I am stashing away.
I am sorry about the pictures. I think my camera is biting the dust. Any suggestions on a new one would be so helpful.

Oh, these are CUTE...I had that SU set and sold it, and am kicking myself every time I see it being used! Snow angels are the best! So glad you played with the MM sketch this week!
Hi Linda these are two fabulous Christmas cards I love the images you have used and the music paper on that first one is great, that second image made me smile, I think that is something I would love to have done in years gone by, lol.

Darling Christmas cards, Linda! I don't think I have made any so far in 2012...eek! I absolutely love your border on the green plaid paper (second card) and the way the oval overlaps the music paper (first card). Nice!
