I thought this would be a wonderful card to give a teacher at the end of the school year.  The charm is off of an old teacher dress of mine and the rick rack is some I got at an antique store. It really is cool. I haven't seen anythng like it before. I love finding new goodies to add to my cards. Really with a BLD image you don't need much more.

My card is a slide. It was fun to make. 

I made the flower with pages from an old phone book and Lindy Stamp Gang spray. The the flower center and the right side sentiment is from the SP and Company stamp set called Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Basics .  The gift certificate was created with the Scallops and Lines Stamp Set.

I will tell you more about making the slider in another post.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you have a wonderful Mothers Day! I sure did. One of my sons came and helped me all day. We cleaned a rock garden, tilled an planted a garden, he leaned my eavestrough, moved the compost bin, and we are working on a badge for my blog. I couldn't have been happer. I an tired and sore today but it feels great.
OK I have some things to tell you and show you.

Here is the card I made.

I also used Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Holidays for the  Father's Day and Hey, Mister! Digital for the hat, mustache and tie.  The background paper is Graphic 45. I stamped the circle sentiment in Crumb Cake and Father's Day in Chocolate Chip. This was a fun card to make. I love the vintage look. The base is light blue with a dark blue layer next.
