Yea, it is Saturday!!
That means it is time for a Stamp Scrap Doodle Saturday Challenge. Our sponsor this week is Sew Many Cards and you could win 5 images of your choice. Angela Doescher at Sew Many Cards has many wonderful images. I got an email on Monday about a huge sale going on. So hop over and get in on all the wonderful deals.
Our challenge this week is to use buttons, bows, bling and anything else you would like to use. I decided to cover a small notebook. I use one of these all the time. I write down the titles of books I have read. This way I don’t check them out a second time and I have a good book list to recommend to a friend. We use Netflix for movies. I don’t know how many times we start a movie and say, " we saw this.” So this little notebook is going to sit by the computer were we order the movies. Now we just need to remember to write down what we ordered. LOL
I used the colors for Colour Q 28 challenge, Ruby Red, Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay and white. The card stock is all SU. The image is from Sew Many Cards and I colored it with Copic markers. The ribbon is from SU and the buttons and fibers are from my stash. The "Notes" is a stamp from Stamp TV. I used a SU punch for the little shapes and doodled around the edges.
I sure hope you join us over at SSDS this week. It was so much fun looking at all the wonderful cards and projects last week we had over 100 people join in our challenge.
Have a great Saturday!
Thanks for stopping,
One week to go on my celebration! I am so happy with the response. I was hopping for 100 followers and I have almost 100 comments on the Celebration post. I only wish I was a rich woman and I could send you all a gift. That could happen if I win the Lottory. Oh yea, you have to buy a ticket. I would rather buy DP. Sorry:( LOL Love you all!

What a fun notebook Linda! Great idea too to keep track of what you've watched.
Hi Linda, this is Susan from Everyday Cricut's Saturday crew. You asked if you could do something like the Butterfly card in Gypsy. The answer is yes and no. You can weld the outside wings to the main butterfly, but you cannot hide the extra wings - Gypsy does not have a hide contour feature (yet). So they would hang off the mat and partially cut. Just toss out the partial cuts and you would be all set.
xx Susan
Fabulous little notebook Linda! With that screaming "write in me" next to the computer, hopefully you won't forget to write down what you saw. I hope I find time to play along with the challeneg this week, it looks like a fun one!
