This is the card I made for Stamp TV's Potluck Friday Challenge 38. The challenge is to use **only** stamped sentiments, greetings, etc on your card. I used Melanie Muenchinger's stamp sent called Inspiration Mosaic. I paper pieced Lime Rickey pattered paper from my Eclectic summer TV Kit on the background. The card stock is Pure Luxury white and green apple. I am not sure about the ribbon. The green gems are from Hero Arts I think. I used a fine tip black marker to make the stitching lines around the blocks I think it looks like a quilt that way. I just haven't hauled out my sewing machine to use on cards yet. I love the look sewing has but I am too lazy to get out the machine and then put it away again. I have it way up high on a shelf in my craft room. Someday I will give that technique a try.
Well let me know what you think, and thanks for stopping.

Very nice Linda and the faux stitching really lifts those panels.

Great job on all the faux stitching. I don't get my sewing machine out often either, but I do love the way sewing looks on a card. I really like the way you've got the ribbon tied around the Happy Birthday. It makes it look like a gift!
I really like the stitching also, you are so funny about the sewing machine...The pen is perfect!
Very cute--I love this country look!
I love the patchwork feel to it, just beautiful!
