Smart?

Hi Everyone, No card today. We had Parent Teachers Conference Thursday night and Friday morning. I thought I would post a picture of me teaching. I am using a Smartboard in this picture. I love using a it. A Smartboard is an interactive board that works with your computer. You can do so much with a Smartboard and the children love using it. Teachers today really have to keep up with technology to keep the children interested. You can see from the picture that I spend all my money on crafts because I only have one sweater. Not really but in the last two picture I am wearing the same sweater. If you have a chance to help a school get Smartboards go for it. Our building got them because of a reading grant. The five year grant was a lot of hard work but we all learned so much. We are now a model school and other teachers will be coming to watch us teach. I love sharing all that I have learned with other teachers.
Tomorrow I am going to a UW football game. I haven't been to one since I was in college. That was over 30 years ago. I know I will have fun but that means not cards. Maybe Sunday I'll get to play.
Have a great Saturday,

I love a teacher that is willing to advance and try new techbology...what a benefit to the students. To answer your last question- my table is rarely clean but the rest stays pretty neat.I like to put things away so i can find them the next time.I am OCD...lol

Wow, so advanced!!!! I love that you are using the technology (and open to being photographed) and it looks like a daily task with a morning message. We have a smartboard in our library that the kids use every other week for a lesson with the media specialist. We got a second mobile smartboard that we can sign out to use for a lesson. I haven't tried it out yet, but you are inspiring me.....

I have never heard of this, but it sure looks cool! Far cry from when we were in school!
