Christmas Card Challenge #7 and #6.

Well I am already behind on my Christmas cards. LOL It is week #7 over at Weekly Christmas Card Challenge and I didn't get #6 posted yet.
This week, #7, the challenge is Flourishes. My dear friend Kate gave me this fun paper and it did all the work for this card.
I just cut it to 4 X 5.25 put it on a pink base. then I went over all the flourishes with stickles and stamped Merry Christmas on the inside. It is very pretty in real life. I think I went a little to white with my white balance today.
Now challenge #6 was Lace. So here is the card I made with lace.
I had the wreath colored. I cut it out and used an X-ACTO knife to cut the inside. The lace is something I had from my St Vinnie's haul. The sentiment I found in my stash so I am not sure if I even own that stamp but I really like it. LOL. Both cards are lined but I forgot to  take a picture of that. The bow and berries have red stickles and sparkle.

This is a great challenge. I may even start addressing the envelopes. LOL I will be so ready when December come around. You know, the years just keep going faster and faster.

Thanks for stopping,

Two fabulous Christmas creations Linda, the first one looks quite retro, that second one really appeals to me it has a vintage look to it which I love, the lace and wreath look super.

I am behind on my Christmas cards too...I love to participate at Jingle Belles, but I haven't managed a card yet for 2012.

Yay for stickles! I have been using them more often in 2011. I am so glad to be using some very old stash again. They add so muck to a card.

Your lace creates a lovely trim for your wreath card. The oval sentiment is lovely.
